“Great place, very fancy, we stayed here multiple times, 100% would recommend, definitely worth the money. The personal chef in the morning is awesome. Valentines package is a must. My husband and I were very pleased with it. We have also stayed with the kids the pool was amazing, kids loved the lazy river.”

“We have visited this hotel probably 4 times since moving here 5 years ago. The staff was EXTREMELY accommodating and friendly during the ice storm a year ago (2023) and seriously made my life feel a little less dramatic for a moment. They do have a pool that isn't heated which is sort of like taking an ice bath, but I have to say that they also serve continental breakfast in the mornings and all the other positive things outweigh the pool hands down. We tell everyone who comes to visit us to stay here!”

“I've been here for several days and the stay has been good. We are staying a big group of people for work reasons and I must recognize the great treatment of Debra, one of the ladies who is in charge of breakfast. The entire team must leave before 6:30 am and breakfast time only begins at that time. However, Debra allows us to have something to eat beforehand and she treats us very kindly and makes sure that we have what we need for food before we leave. I think the best thing about this hotel is HERs service.I've been here for several days and the stay has been good. “People make the difference, and this location has great people. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. We had a great stay for a baseball tournament. However, I made a horrible traveler's mistake and left a backpack with a laptop in the room when I checked out. When I called, in a panic, Ali, from housekeeping, had already brought my bag to the front desk. Sarah at the front desk took care of everything from there. We emailed a shipping label to her, and she took care of it from there. When you have people that will help you out in a pinch even after checkout you found the right place to stay.”

“Some coworkers and I came here for a CPP Rally through our company. The hotel was very clean and had upscale features and beautiful views. We also enjoyed an amazing breakfast at their Bistro while waiting for our meeting to start. I ordered some loaded breakfast tots with scrambled eggs, and it was delicious and worth every penny. They had great customer service and took such great care of us. I definitely recommend visiting.Food & drinks: Their Bistro is a bit pricey, but the quality of food and drinks they serve makes up for the price.”

“This location surprisingly exceeded my expectations!! First, it’s pet friendly with no fee! The rooms were clean, and the housekeeping staff was super nice and efficient. The rooms were a little dated, but very much livable and clean. The staff is super nice and have great communication. I would likely return to this specific location multiple times”
“I arrived at the location three hours after check in time. The guy at the front desk was running around chasing his kid around the hotel lobby. I attempted to try Check in. Upon doing so, the front desk clerk told me that my room was not ready. I said, sir, it's 3 hours past the check in time.When will it be ready? His reply was he had no idea when the room would be ready. The front desk clerk then became very unprofessional and told me he would not honor my reservation. I tried contacting the management and the hotel staff. I was left on hold for a hour. I also try to contact the management the next day, and the manager told me that he will call me back in 15 minutes. No response yet. The hotel still charged me for the 2 nights stay that I did not receive. Upon my departure, there were several other customers in the lobby complaining that their rooms were dirt. I guess my whole problem is how do you have time to run around and chase a child around the lobby. The management the staff at this location is horrible!!!! I'll never return to be disrespected by Towneplace unprofessional staff and management team.”

“The place is nice. It has a full kitchen and upon check-in, the frontdesk are kind and friendly. They were very accommodating and informative. however there are few things I would like to note.1. The reception said that she will provide me the kitchenware since she was already done for the day but the day came nobody provided me those, I followed up with them twice via call and still no kitchenware arrive. I had to go to the front desk and talk to frontdesk before they would provide me with the kitchen items that I need and still missing 1 item (draining rack). She said there was no available but will have 1 the next day. She said she will give me as soon as it is available. Now, it's my 2nd week it has not arrived.2. It was stated during the check-in that the housekeeping is done on the 8th day of the stay which was a Saturday. Before I left for the weekend travel, I asked frontdesk if they will clean the unit even without my presence which the front desk confirmed. When I arrived Monday, the room was not cleaned. I had to followup and it took another 2 days before it was cleaned up.3. I am not sure if their hallway was vaccumed but it's smelly and dusty. My allergic rhinitis is triggered.The hotel is good overall but they don't provide something that they promised. If you don't ask, they will forget about it.They were never proactive.Rooms: The room is nice. It was a kitchen where you can cook. The hotel provides kitchen ware”

“I took time to read the reviews beforehand, and saw three words. Safe, clean, and quiet. That’s all I was looking for, and it lived up to all three. Yes, it’s a visibly older building, but the room was nice, clean, and comfortable. Nobody screaming in the halls at 3 am. Had a microwave and refrigerator. Continental breakfast was fine and the coffee good. Walked 5 minutes to Carrabas restaurant one night and enjoyed that. Right in the heart of the IKEA area on Ford road. We spent 2 nights here. Affordable place to stay.”

“I really like all the staff at super 8. I even like the managers too. Easy to talk to. Check in was great. Room was clean and nice I just got the jacuzzi room. It was really nice and clean with king size comfortable bed with 4 pillows that was also soft. Two ice machines one on the first floor, another on second floor both work great. Heater works great and so does the air.”
“Amazing hidden gemFor $99 I had 2 fully comfy cozy beds a large screen TV. Coffee maker in room with all the fixing. All brand new carper and decor. Amazing absolutely amazing. Great fit for a stay cation. The staff is amazing also. So accommodating and friendly as well. Very professional staff. In fact the gm Rami got me an early check in so my kids could swim with mothers day. Daniel thenight manager was very kind and informative and moved me to a different room when my TV wasn't working. And the hot tub pool and workout rooms are stare of the air. I stayed on the 3rd floor overlooking the trees. In the morning they begin breakfast and coffee which is included XXL...amazing right???? The food all freshly made and fully stocked up to and including the time it ended at 9am by May.”

Let me tell you she Can Make your day better just being your Friend that's How Amazing She Is. There have been Multiple Occurrences where I have seen Guest Get Very Attitude strong with her n she Stayed Calm at Every Pace, because that's what she does. She doesn't Put her Feelings n Extend it to her Employment, she keeps them to herself n Always Smiles Regardless of the Outcome because to Someone like Heidi the Importance of Guest means Everything the Moment they Walk in the Door to the Establishment.

“Our Pittsburgh hockey team was looking for accommodations midway between the three Detroit arenas, where we’d be playing, and decided on the Hampton Inn-Detroit/Northville. Reserving a large block of rooms for an entire team is always a challenge, but especially when doing so, last minute.Leonardo was wonderful to work with and made the process seamless. He handled every request efficiently, and was courteous and professional with each and every encounter. The newly renovated hotel was clean and the staff was beyond accommodating. They even agreed to come in early, to prepare breakfast before their usual start time, so our team could eat prior to our early morning game. I highly recommend this hotel. We will certainly be staying here next time we’re in Detroit.”
