absolutely horrible experience! my daughter went here from 12 months to 24 months. the only good part about this facility were my daughters in class teachers..the management here SUCKED! Chris, Mary, & Ankita make it seem as though they care more about a weekly payment than these children!! my daughter missed ONE WEEK of daycare because we took a family vacation, we come back and Ankita tells us they gave my daughters spot up. on top of them being more money hungry than worrying about our children, Ms Mary is the most unpleasant woman to see in the morning, and we're expected to feel comfortable dropping off our kids with that nasty unpleasant attitude? there is no real curriculum here for children anyway. my daughter is starting montessori soon thank goodness for that. Would never recommend this facility to a stranger. HORRIBLE! i wish i could give them a negative zero.

The management of this daycare cares more about the money than the children. We felt helpless that our concerns cannot go anywhere b/c we're dealing with a big corporate company behind this daycare, and the director never seemed to care about our concerns.1.Tuition increases every 6 months: Our kid stayed with this place for about 17 months, and they increased tuition 3 times already.2. This place is following strictly to the sick policy that child must stay home for at least 48 hours! (Note that most of the other daycares and schools only require 24 hour) And they falsely claimed our child was sick many times! We've suggested the director to let the corporate consider changing the policy to 24 hours, and the director told us he wanted to be cautious so he would stay with the rule. And the director refused to bring our suggestion to his leader. We would definitely want our kid to stay home if he is not feeling good or sick, but our kid was forced to be out at least twice a month while he was completely healthy, and this place didn't consider letting us come back based on any of doctor's note or test results. Here comes the worst part - after we gave our two week notice that our kid was leaving the place, the director called us the last Monday of the week and claiming our kid had pink eye, and the rule was to be away from school for at least 24 hour. When I picked up my kid, his eyes were not swollen or not even red. I took my son to the pediatrician immediately, and of course after the examination, the doctor wrote us a note saying our kid had no problem and could return the following day because he was all fine. I'm not sure what game the management was trying to play with us to keep our kid away from school, the director just uses the sick policy at his own advantage so the school can keep the kid count low and have fewer teachers on-site. We didn't feel our kid was welcome to the place since our kid got kicked out so many times while he was completely healthy (and we still paid the full tuition amount every week).3. Our kid got hurt at this place twice and we didn't get contacted right away: The first incident happened during his first month at this place (when our kid was only 11 month old) we noticed a big bruise on his leg (it looked like someone squeezed his leg too hard while changing diaper) We didn't get any notification about this until we realized the purple bruise when our kid got home. We asked the director about the incident and he had no clue what happened. The 2nd time our kid got a deep scratch between his eyes. This happened because one of the teachers accidentally scratched our kid's face with a broom. This scratch almost went into his eye. We learned about the incident when we picked up our kid the end of the day, not immediately after this happened, and only the teacher apologized to us. When we asked the director about this, his response was "He won't have a scar so don't worry." And he didn't apologize or explain to us what happened. We understand accidents happen, but every time when the director told us to stay away from school for 48 hours because of illness they claimed our kid had, he always called us immediately and was very vocal and firm about following the company's policy, and when our kid got hurt by the teacher, the director did not seem to care. If we didn't reach out to him, he might never speak to us about this. How can the director be so dismissive about the kids' safety but care so much about following sick policy?

We moved to Childtime of Northville because our previous daycare was closing. The tour was very professional and all of the staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. After a few days, we decided that the daycare wasn't a great fit for us, so we called to discuss it with the Director at Childtime; we spoke with Ankita Singh, the School Education Manager. She dismissed our concerns and accused us of lying. We haven't had an issue speaking with the Director, Chris, but Ankita was exceptionally impolite and rude. After our discussion with her, the decision was easy to leave.

Poor management: I scheduled tour a while back and they mentioned it was in person tour. After I went with my husband and kids they said they are not doing in person tour and we have to book virtual tour. After i booked virtual tour twice, both times no one attended my call, I waited 20 minutes each time. And no one called and apologized as well for their mistakes. Stop wasting people’s time and effort!!! If you cannot attend its minimum courtesy to inform the people about your absence. Wouldn’t send my kids to such place who are so irresponsible and unprofessional.

Looking for childcare for my daughter and this location is near and had good reviews so I decided to schedule an appointment to tour. I scheduled my tour with no issues and on the website it said in person tours only which I was okay with. Got there at the time I was scheduled and the woman at the front desk gave me a weird look and told me that they only do virtual tours. Nowhere on their site did they indicate that! Why would I have wasted my gas to come up there if that were the case!? I called the call center # and the woman I spoke with even confirmed that they have it set to in person tours. She then called them and let them know and the man she talked to basically said that they are only doing virtual at this time and he doesn't know how to change it and offered no apology or anything to try to resolve the situation.

If there were zero stars I would rate as such. This location allowed my son to cry the entire first day. When we picked him up they said he had a great day but a little trouble with transitions. We realized he was traumatized, severely congested and had a distorted voice due to all of the crying. When we asked about it we were told "we did not want to alarm you". It is not your decision as to what is alarming and it is certainly not ok to withhold information about my child's well being. This company has had lawsuits against it for other situations at other locations. They have a clause in their paperwork that asks you to waive any trial by jury. DONOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE IF YOU CARE ANOUT THEM!!!

As soon as my daughter walks through the doors at ChildTime of Northville, I know she is going to be safe, loved, and pushed to grow through activities and hands on experiences. The management is wonderful; they always have smiles on their faces! Teachers post photos on their app of daily activities and books they read that day. Those updates make me feel connected to my daughter’s world and allow me to have conversation starters when I pick her up.When at home, my daughter speaks often about the friends from her class, and she wakes up excited to go back to “school.” From the mouths of babes: ChildTime is a wonderful place to be!

My kids attended this Childtime for 3 years and we are only leaving because we are moving. The director and teachers made it a place my kids loved going and I wish I could pack the whole school up and take it with us. Ms Wendy, Ms Alison,M Mary (both of them), Ms Caitlin, Ms Catelyn, My Tiffany, Ms Shannon, and every single other teacher as there are so many to name, have seriously blessed my kids. Thank you all for loving them, teaching them and more while they were with you.

Our child attended this location from September ‘18 to January’19. We didn’t have an ideal experience but please read this in its entirety if you are planning to enroll your child here.Let’s start with the pros. This place has a handful of staff that genuinely care for the children. A few all-stars that put in a lot of effort to make our family feel welcome here. This location has got to be the cleanest day care I’ve ever been to. My child never got sick through their tenure and hats off to staff for cleanliness and hand washing. The place was really flexible to our food needs and the chef is an absolute pleasure to work with. Payment system is easy to use. Secure camera system to view classroom. Apps are great for updates. Music program is good. CT as a franchise is pretty good with what they have to offer. The franchise is really good at reaching out for feedback and responsive to address our concerns. Now for the cons. We had high expectations and were completely unhappy with the general lack of effort from staff and leadership whenever issues would come up. This place is the definition of status quo and doing the bare minimum to get by. If issues or concerns come up, they will be temporarily addressed with little to no follow-through.The building was completely unorganized and not welcoming the first week of the new school year. The lights were off in the majority of the building and leadership was never present in the morning. It took over a week to get a door code. We were told to place our belongings on the floor while they reorganized the cubbies. This went on for over a week. The leadership was completely unresponsive through email-often forwarding the same email 3-4 times before getting a response if any at all. The drop-off area was noisy and chaotic. Some staff would often yell to kids across the room instead of standing up and addressing the situation in proximity – just adding to the noise and chaos. The classroom teacher was not fit to run the class our child belonged to. Often seen overwhelmed and short with the children. No variety in activities in the class. Our child would often be seen on the camera visibly upset or sitting for long periods of time doing nothing with no intervention. Painting, sensory table, iPads, rinse and repeat every-day-all-day for our tenure. There were sprinkles of other activities, but they were few and far in-between. When asked for evidence of a curriculum we were told by the teacher: “We don’t do that anymore”. There were a few incidences of negligence of which I will spare the details. Our last straw was when we found our child with urine-soaked pruned feet standing half-naked in the bathroom and had been crying for some time. After not responding to a few emails nor any follow up as to why we were leaving CT, I finally initiated a call and talked to leadership about the incident; who said that it was not acceptable and the staff would be trained better. But that’s just it. More talk that WE had to initiate. Why would they not care that we were leaving? Probably because there are plenty of kids lining up for the same program.Look around at the walls on your tour and see if they change at all through your time there. You will find the same old pictures and stock photos of kids. Not kids that are currently in the classroom or the work or projects that they worked on. It’s either staged or negligence. I would say more likely the latter. In summary, if your child is independent and is able to occupy themselves and you are looking for a place to have them watched but not concerned with education, then this location will probably work out better for your family than it did for ours. If your child requires a bit of attention or has any special needs, then you may find yourself in the same predicament that we did – a staff that isn’t concerned or willing to put forth any effort. We are much happier at another day care center. Our child has shown so much progress since we switched and I wish we would have withdrew sooner than we did.

My child has been going there for several months and I love it! It was hard leaving her during the day but they made the transition easy. I trust them and it is nice to receive pictures of her a couple times per week doing fun and educational activities.
