I've lived in Michigan for about 1 year and DP was one of the first stores I visited when I arrived. I really loved the clothes and the layout of the store. Today I bought a beautiful dress for a excelent price and I am very happy with my deal. The attendant was kind. I intend to visit the store more often, whenever possible.

Adorable gift store! Something for all age groups and they wrap.. YASSSS.. thought the prices were incredible for the quality of the goods. Staff was so helpful and offered explanations on how products worked and great suggestions for what to buy for who!

I gave these 2 stores a third try and they stuck out. During three visits, I was not greeted or welcomed. Each time I spent over 10 minutes looking and picking out clothing. I carried items around. I ended up leaving all three times. Employees should not be leaning on the desk, faces in their phones and ignoring customers.

I found it so strange that both this and its sister store next door, Dear Prudence, don't have Yelp pages! I looked on blackbird's Instagram page and I believe they've been open since early 2020. Some friends and I put our names in for brunch at Browndog yesterday, but had about a 20-30 minute wait, so we were walking around Northville and stumbled across this shop. It reminds me a lot of Rock Paper Scissors in Ann Arbor - it's a cutesy gift shop, a little overpriced, but does have some pretty cool stuff. I saw a few prints I really liked (but one was $24, a bit out of my budget) and they also have lots of nice-looking soaps and other gifts. It's connected to Dear Prudence next door - and apparently the owner of both must be a Beatles fan, as my boyfriend later informed me that both "Dear Prudence" and "Blackbird" are Beatles songs! Pretty cool. I looked at the Dear Prudence website yesterday too and it turns out the owner's name is Prudence, as well. I would definitely come back here when in the area to check out what's for sale, as they had some interesting stuff, especially local or locally-made wares.

Very cute shop for gifts, home decor, stationary, and body are items! I purchased several unique arts and crafts items for kids Christmas gifts, and they were well loved. Great quality and beautiful designs that are hard to find in big box stores.

This is a must stop on everyone’s shopping list, when visiting downtown Northville. They have something for every age! It’s hard to walk out of there without something.

THE CUTEST STORE IN NORTHVILLE. So so perfect for anything entertaining, gifting, or to spoil yourself (which duh)! There is something for literally everyone in your life which makes buying gifts SO hassle free. The store itself is so cute and set up so you can see all the products. The staff is amazing and so sweet. 10/10 would recommend :)
