Horrible- The service Garage did something to my car after they did some recalls. There is a noise that wasn’t t there before, it wants to stall at stop signs and traffic lights.and now when I press the gas to go , the rpm’s go way up and then finally it goes. I came there to buy my car off a lease and I wanted a remote start put on. Long story short they said “no problem” , we can even add it to the loan. Well it didn’t happen. They got my sale though because they had me sign the papers first with the remote start in it. Then they were going to reimburse me the $1200 for the remote start since it was already in the loan I signed. I was told they would mail me a check. Now conveniently they have to give the bank the money. There is more but I’m sure whoever is reading this you get it. Terrible service and they don’t stand behind their word. This is my very first Google review.

This place is a joke. Overall, MARK WHITTAKER the one who sat there and lied to my face… shook my hand and gave me his word there was nothing wrong with the used car I was buying is untrustworthy and I would take anything he says with a grain of salt if that. I bought my car less than a month ago.. have driven this car less than 2k miles and now my oil light is continuously on and I cannot risk driving it with my children in it. I’ve brought this up to mark and even had my boyfriend call and talk to them. Now they refuse to take my calls or help with the issue. I looked passed the fact that the key fob didn’t work 100% no big deal.. I looked passed the fact that i was told the inside of the car would be detailed and cleaned but was still dirty from the previous owner also leaving the previous owners information/mail in my vehicle… but I am not looking passed the fact I can’t even drive a car I bought less than a month ago now. The fact I will be losing money from my job because I have no way to get to work… this is absolutely unprofessional of them. Should have went to gates.
An update to this issue, if you buy a used Kia make sure you have a oil consumption test ran because they don’t run them themselves because they aren’t willing to pay the mechanics to do them to ensure their cars are 100% working properly. Kia’s need the clean out because they get carbon build up.I just finished this process after they had me do the test twice while putting 2k miles on my vehicle for this. and my car failed both times after the engine clean out. Now my car needs a new engine… I bought this car 2 months ago…

DO NOT BUY HERE!!!
I bought a car and the power train warranty here. I left the lot and called back immediately after realizing there was a a noticeable problem with the car. I took it back and service insisted nothing was wrong. I went to Zolman across the street and was told they couldn't touch the tires to check them because there was a bolt in a sidewall. Had that fixed. Eventually found out it was the transmission module. I called back to Tyler Kia several times and was ignored or undermined. I eventually had to pay a Ford dealership mechanic to fix the issues. I still have issues with the car.
This place scams good people and will neglect you even if you buy the warranty for their service. I went through Helen.
Go somewhere else!

Bought a 2021 Kia sorrento in 2023 with around 45k miles on it, had it serviced on schedule with Kia dealership basic maintenance always received good report on vehicles health. My warranty ended at 60k as I’m second owner and around that time my car started making a humming noise when I drove. I took it in to be looked at and received a txt for “critical” issue and under description said to call for details but to fix will cost $5k and an option to approve or decline. I called and received a very short and uncaring response “its transmission”. I asked for more details they gave me basic info and said it needs to be replaced. I explained that I had them do all my routine maintenance this was never identified or an issue and I’m only 2k miles past the warranty and it’s a transmission issue which should not be happening to a top tier sorrento at 60k. They reached out to the manufacturer rep and she quickly denied any kind of help, even though the issue they said is unheard of for this mileage and this car. Every person I spoke to from corporate to the dealership service team was very uncaring and nonchalant about the situation. Long story short I’ll deal with it outside of Kia, for sure they will not get another penny out of me for their over priced maintenance services and their lack of compassion to their customers. Do yourself a favor and look at other places that are more affordable and better customer service to get work done and if your thinking about buying a Kia think twice I’ve had many cars that were other brands and not one has ever had a transmission issue under 100k. Get a reliable brand that can stand behind their product and its quality not a brand that prays your warranty expires so they don’t have to deal with their product going bad. Don’t hold your breath on the Kia loyalty program

I drive an hour to get my vehicle serviced here because they outperform the competition when it comes to service. I was not pleased at first when I was told that my vehicle had been driven by a technician to confirm proper alignment. I once watched a technician at a local dealership ruin an alignment due to harsh driving, which is why I avoid that place and filed a formal complaint with Kia corporate.
I digress. Eventually, they ran a diagnostic, which confirmed everything was fine. I had the alignment done under warranty within a couple of weeks of purchasing the vehicle, so they absorbed the cost. I was very pleased with that and left satisfied. I just wish Kia would fix or update the wireless Apple CarPlay connection, which I was told is a widespread issue.

First time visit for an oil change. As a new resident of St Joseph it is a little bit of a distance but fortunately I work in Niles so it was convenient. Got in last minute thanks to Luke for calling the master tech to see if he had time and thankfully he did. Luke was absolutely amazing as he was professional and made sure I left happy and that I did. as I was in the waiting area about an hour, there had been many employees that walked passed without acknowledging me which was a little disappointing. The few other customers that were waiting had acknowledged me and even started chatting with me. As a new resident of Michigan I am impressed with the amount of kindhearted people that I have either met or have crossed paths with compared to Illinois. Feels good to be acknowledged and with that said Taylor was the only employee who greeted me and asked me how I was doing. Like I said before there had been many people that walked passed me not saying a word but for some reason Taylor made my day as I am currently in a traumatic state of mind. She made me smile and this review is because of her. I was excited that someone acknowledged me and treated me like a valued customer. Her kind heart made me walk up to her and I told her how much that meant to me. She is absolutely amazing and even showed the utmost respect for my well being as I shared some of my story with her. She is a gem which in my eyes are rare and can be found 1 in a million. I hope she gets the recognition she deserves for doing what she enjoys most, making people happy! Thank you Luke and Taylor for the excellent first time experience.

Went in to Tyler’s looking to purchase a used Jeep Wrangler with low miles. Decided to come here because this is where I have gotten my last two vehicles and they have always done a good job of taking care of any issues I have had. I went to Shannon Brown who I have always used and told her what I was looking for. She did a great job finding the exact vehicle I wanted. I really appreciate the professional atmosphere.

What a great dealership to work with! Shout out to DJ Brown for being a normal dude and not a pushy salesman! He was able to get me out of my trade with the negative equity and into a lease with a decent monthly payment. Tyler KIA was very easy to work with and I will be returning to lease again!
