I had black box dye in my hair and Danielle fixed it, I expected it to be 400-500 and she only charged me 260. She deserves all the praise in the whole world. She's also so fun to talk to and put on a movie for us to watch. Honestly the best stylist ever!

The owner Tina was super accommodating, helpful, and responsive when i had problems with a former stylist. Hailee was awesome with fixing my color and gave me a really pretty highlight and helped my hair feel healthier even with a bright blonde color

I moved to the area somewhat recently and have jumped around trying to find a salon I actually like, never super excited about the experience or outcomes. :( BUT I am very happy I found Whitney at Luminous! She got me in easily, cut my super long hair in only 30 minutes, and it came out amazing! I do not remember the last time it has taken less than an hour for someone to cut my hair, and usually I leave feeling pretty unsatisfied. She listened to exactly what I wanted, even my particular bangs request, and it was beyond affordable. I will absolutely be back and this will be my go to place moving forward.

Went in for a hair extension consultation and Libby was SUPER nice, answered all my questions, and there was no pressure to make a decision instantly. She uses the "beading" style extensions. I decided to go ahead and ordered my hair for her to put them in because she was very easy to trust! Can't wait to get my hair done next week! I'll have to share my results :)

Bout a week late, lol. I love my hair!! Whitney did AMAZING. Having just moved into Niles, I was leery to find a new stylist, no longer looking Whitney took the time to explain pricing and products, very knowledgeable and honestly could become a dear friend. She takespride in her work as well as she should. Very talented! I love the new do and look forward to my next booking. Mad props girl! Keep shining and working ur magic. You rock! If your looking for a makeover or just a positive person to trust with ur hair, Whitney is incredible. Highly recommend ? ? Do it with Luminous, you're in great hands!

I have finally found my spot! I went to Whitney to fix a bad dye job & have been going to her myself, as well as referring anyone who will listen, ever since. She has helped me keep an awesome blonde going & is great at getting my bangs how I like, remembering details like where my cowlick is, and cutting accordingly. My young daughter loves her, too. She took her time & really listened to what she wanted, as she is pretty particular. 100% recommend! The new location is gorgeous, too!

Very excited to treat myself to my first professional highlight. Was quoted $150 at time of booking. During visit was offered additional services (i.e Olaplex treatment, trim) but never discussed additional cost. When ready to leave was charged $280. I had to remind the stylist of my $50 booking fee which needed to be refunded to me due to already charging my credit card. When all was said and done it cost me, with tip, over $300. I got home and my husband couldn't even tell I had my hair done. I cried as this was something I was very much looking forward to and it cost SO MUCH MONEY without any advance notice of additional charges from stylist. Very disappointed. I have found a new stylist that I'm quite pleased with, it's just unfortunate that I have to drive to Elkhart instead of staying in my hometown of Niles. BE CAREFUL of unwanted charges. Know what you are getting and what they are charging you before you agree to it!!!
