Cozy. Down to earth. Owner came out, grabbed her pruners, and showed me how to shape and prune lavender. Lot of selections in the gift shop. Lotion smells amazing.

The people at Lavender Farms are super nice. In particular, the younger woman helping me find a good oil for my daughter-in-law who just had a baby. Prices for picking lavender are good: $5.00 a bunch or what you can put into a twist tie. Very small signs leading to the place. Several kinds of lavender. Also some chairs in the shade. A parent came with her daughter. An older couple came. A short but sweet outing with lavender to take home. While some is winding down, one variety is a later bloomer.

I used to come up to Niles, Mich., occasionally, and always wanted to stop by the lavendar farm, but my schedule never aligned with their hours. Well, luckily, I had another trip to the area with some friends, called, and they were open! June 5, 2023 - we are hitting the farm beofre everything is in bloom or ready to u-pick, so we basically just shopped in the little store. There are sachets, food stufffs, books, dried lavendar, lotions, lip balms, live plants for sale, and more! The young woman behind the counter was very friendly and chatted with us about the different vaieties of lavendar -- did you know, one is better for sachets and one is better for cooking? We all sampled the lavendar honey -- so good! I am having some in tea as I type this. Also bought a big bag of sachet buds, ome culinary lavendar, & some small purple spray bottles. One of my friends got a bag of lavendar chocolates -- so #yum! One if not enough, you can really taste the lavendar on the second. ;) #ReviewsByRL

I gave one star because my mom and I drove 2 hours (after triple checking hrs of operation) today just to visit this place. We both madly love lavender and we're so excited to see everything they make. When we got there the sign on the door said Saturday hours 10am to 2pm or by appointment. We were there at 11:30am everything was locked up and no one was there. If you aren't going to go by your hours then make it by appointment only. The place did look lovely just wish we could have seen the merchandise. ( Was planning on spending some $$)

Beautiful farm with rows and rows of fragrant lavender flowers buzzing with bees, butterflies, and cute little grasshoppers. U-pick lavender is fun, and I felt very calm and happy after clipping my own bouquet. Shop on the farm is filled with lavender body products, culinary lavender products, and lavender home products all made lavender grown and distilled in the farm.Definitely a fun, and relaxing visit.
