Kristi was super accommodating to our large truck and trailer, provided multiple solutions. The cabin was perfect and the location second to none!! Well above average everything, including the sunset and stargazing!!!Rooms: Perfect for a 3 day adventureNearby activities: Lake Superior is within walking distance, lake muskellunge is literally attached to the property. There's hundreds of miles of side-by-side and ATV trails.Food & drinks: The deer Park Lodge has its own little general store with pretty much everything you could need.Noteworthy details: They have a freaking phone booth!!!!

Great place to stay. Just got home from staying here for snowmobiling. Everything you need is onsite, gas, and a small store with groceries, beer, and liquor. The hospitality from the owners is wonderful. Will definitely be back!

We've stayed several years now on our annual gal's trip.The view of the lake is lovely and on quiet mornings, you can hear the waves of Lady Superior just down the road.The general store/gift shop has everything you need.

Terrific accommodations for those seeking a quiet getaway. We stayed in #8 cabin - very comfortable with a futon couch and full kitchen. The store is jam packed with everything one might need and it’s great to have a laundromat right here as well. Great location for rock hunting at Muskallonge Lake State Park - Lake Superior Overlook.

Deer Park goes on in history. Glad it is still there. They have the basics so you don't have to drive to Newberry for groceries. Nice folks, busy place. I needed a slotted spoon for my camper, could find one in a store in Traverse City at all. Deer Park Lodge Store, $1.50.

Was a good stay overall but would have been an excellent stay if the toilet flushed and emptied without having to plunge it all the time.All of the Drains need some Serious Snaking and Attention! Possibly time for a Septic Tank Pump Out and/or a new Drain Field.Kristie, the Owner, ended up calling out a Contractor to inspect the Septic Tank and Drain Field. All is well now after pumping out the Septic Tank and she is replacing the Drain Field now before Winter hits.All will be good for our next Visit!

The lady that runs it very nice nose or stuff she has a very nice place very good person and also the dog blew great dog yeah she's got laundromat there she's got a little general store she's got wood for sale she's got cabins to rent she hasn't got to pay phone in there still which is unusual this day and age but very down to earth very nice ladyNearby activities: It's right on deer Park lake excellent fishing excellent Northern pike that is also has some musky in it very nice place also a few other attractions around the area like to comment on falls lake Superior munising Grand Marnier nice place to go good place to go snowmobiling out of and good place to enjoy fishing

Love love love it! On top of being a lodge next to a beautiful fresh water lake, they also have a gift shop (or to some of the locals, a convenient store) that we visit quite often it's has such a homely small town feel. Love stopping in whenever we're near and seeing what new thing they have to offer. Go there! I guarantee you won't regret it.

This is rating the store staff.. A nice gal running the register assisted us with using the land line when our van wouldn't start leaving us stranded. She also offered us the opportunity to dip our feet in the lake behind the lodge while we were waiting for our tow driver from Cheboygan. We met nice people while we waited as well. We appreciate the assistance in our time of need. We loved the pup and kitty too!
