The B&B is everything you want in a place to stay: comfortable, cozy, clean, and incredibly charming. The hostess, Susan, is an absolute gem. She prepared the most delicious morning meals and shared some of the house’s history. She was friendly, welcoming, and gracious while also giving us plenty of space for our party to savor our time together. I only wish I’d known earlier about this treasure! Newaygo holds a special place in the hearts of so many who love to venture outdoors in Michigan, and the B&B offers the comforts of home made extra special. I would HIGHLY recommend, and I will look for a reason to return and enjoy the accommodations.

My friend and I booked a night in the nautical room and upon showing up, we were the only guests there, so Susan upgraded us to the Lumberman's Suite free of cost!! The room was elegant and clean and we had so much fun playing pool in the billiards room. Susan was an excellent host and breakfast in the morning was delicious. Would highly recommend staying here. Hospitality was excellent compared to a hotel and room was much cleaner.

The innkeeper, Susan is top notch! She’s the new owner as of 2 years ago. As a frequent Airbnb, VRBO, and B&B guest, Susan is by far one of the best hosts. She made breakfast both mornings for us which were delicious and made sure we had anything/ everything we needed to have the comfiest stay. The beds were incredibly comfortable and everything was super clean. The front porch was so relaxing in the mornings and the outdoor gazebo space/bonfire space was perfect for the summer nights. Would highly recommend for all groups/ages. Thank you Susan for your amazing hospitality! We’ll be back again for sure!

It was a magnificent get away from my husband and I for the night! Called and got a time frame showed up at 7 the end of the time frame, no one was at location was texted back 20 minutes after.

Beware. I booked this B&B and received a confirmation email. I showed up at 8p to check in and the proprietor turned me away saying she had not cleaned up from the prior guests. I had to plead for a recommended alternative and she sent me said to try across the street with no specific directions. After walking in circles for 20 mins I then spent the next 30 mins booking an airbnb.

Stayed the weekend at the B&B and talked to Susan a lot about the history of the home, which I love to talk about history. I was in town for two nights for a fishing seminar in the park, and you know fishermen get up early to fish, and Susan was there for a wonderful home cooked meal at odd ours of the morning for me. The room (Ambassador) was a warm and comfortable space to call home for two nights. After fishing and returning back to the house, I was able to relax and find dinner really close to the house (block away, River Stop Cafe). I'm looking forward to staying there next fall and inviting some of my fishing buddies to stay as well. Thanks Susan for everything! If you go to Susan's make sure you give her cute dog, Mooney, some attention.

Had a great experience! The owner was super friendly and accommodating. The house was clean and cute. We weren't able to show up till 10:30 at night which is way after checkout and she was happy to accept us into her home. She had breakfast hot and ready for us before setting out for a long and successful day of fishing. Would definitely recommend staying here and will be back myself. She's even getting a new pool table for me to show my son how to play pool . Thank you

Beautiful home... the hostess was gracious.. breakfast was egg, sausage and sweet potato hash.. orange juice, coffee and a danish. We enjoyed our stay.

Margo makes the stay awesome. Breakfast is amazing! The Newaygo brewery is just down the street and have a few more quaint places. Fishing all around there is fantastic. Some guides will pick you up at the B&B. Check with Margo who to book if that’s what you prefer.

Incredible service, food was perfect. Location is a little so-so - no great views or attractions, but the rooms were lovely and impeccably clean. A very good value!
