The food prices here are higher than the in town Shelby Dollar General just a few miles away! Why is that? Plus the Shelby Dollar General (in town store) is a lot nicer!

The cashier is very rude. Will complain to customers while you are waiting about customers that called, that they didn't like. Very unprofessional to say the least. Numerous times I have been there, he is out in his truck having a smoke break and nobody is at the register to ring you out.

answer your phone. I see pleasant staff, but items i need i'd like to see availability as I am $6 bucks/ 8 miles gas cost away...and I need to know before starting car. rang 8-8 times before going to busy signal.

Don’t try to call, the phone number listed is disconnected. So you can’t call Dollar General anymore? Maybe don’t offer FedEx pickup and drop off if people can’t call.

The two woman that work there do nothing but chat and ignore customers. Kyle was great but when he is doing all the work it is hard for him to check you out as well. Because I'd hate to interupt their chit chat.

Nice new dollar general. The staff are friendly and super helpful. There's an older gentleman there who was very attentive and helped me out a bunch while I was there. I was just passing through but he went out of his way to help me and definitely left an impression. Keep up the good work guys and thanks for all you're doing during the pandemic!

Such a wonderful store. They have so much to pick from. The staff are wonderful and show they really care about the looks of their store. I am so happy that Dollar General came to the community. The store is beautiful.
