“I went to Dollar General in New Buffalo yesterday evening to buy some chips and salsa for an office party. The gentlemen behind the counter was so nice and welcoming. We had a short conversation about how chips are the best snack”

“This place is a Godsend in the area. The employees are all wonderful. The store is clean. They try to keep some things at reasonable prices, which is so appreciated by this local. The wine and beer selection is well curated. And again, so important for the area, they have enough reasonably priced items to put together a family meal.”

“I am amazed at the customer service that I received in the store. First of all I'd like to comment on an employee that was working the cash register named Michael, he was incredibly bright and cheerful. He greeted me with a warm welcome and as I was leaving he said goodbye even while he what's taking care of another customer. This is my first time in this store, I live in South Bend and this is one of the best experiences I've ever had in the store. Everything was super clean everything was stocked I can't say that about Kroger's but I really would like to commend the store and all the all stores if they are all the same.”

“East Side is a small grocery store. It also has a nice little produce section with very reasonable prices. The meat counter is the star of the store. Yes the meat is pricier but so worth it! Granted my hubby knows how to cook steaks but the meat flavor is amazing and tender. The porterhouse was huge. And the tenderloin side is absolutely the most delicious tenderloin I have ever had! The ribeye, also amazing! Friendly service. We will be back for sure. They are open 7 days a week.”

“It is a great place to find antiques and collectibles. Expansive and eclectic curation of items. Curious grounds with wonderful stone statues. As a reseller, prices tend to be higher than a steal, but if you specialize in specific items, you can add to niche offerings. Owners are very nice and will bargain reasonably with respect.Hours may vary as they admit that they are attending to other things in life, so we try and go mid-day on the weekends.”

“Great food, great display of baked goods from their own and different bakeries. We had breakfast sandwiches which were good but because we didn't eat them right away the scrambled eggs made the bread a bit soggy. Herb aioli was amazing.”

“I have noticed improvements in displays, more products and better organization. Very handy store to have available when you just can't deal with the big box stores!”
