The counter guys are always extremely pleasant to deal with. Even when they mess up. That's the only reason they are getting 2 stars.
Called, made an appointment for our company van to have an oil change and a assessment. I KNEW something was broke, we scheduled the work van off Monday through Friday. . . Called multiple times throughout the week, hasn't been looked at. Finally got a call on Friday, the day I need the van back and they finally put the van up on a lift and diagnosed my issues. Essentially a front end make-over. Okay, but it's Friday, the van has jobs booked on Monday with it. Now I'm waiting until mid-week and all my clients are just stuck waiting. So disappointing.
I'm called a month in advance, I set up the appointment to give them an entire week to fix or update things and they still can't make them work due to poor time management.
I don't recommend this company if time management or scheduling is a priority in your customer service.

This was my first experience of Jim's auto body and service. In fact, I had them do both body work and service, and both jobs were done early, and with great quality. I cannot cannot think of a single thing they could have done better. I recommend them without any reservations.

I’m really pleased with this place. We recently used them on 2 separate occasions.
First, we got tires on a truck…didn’t need aggressive high-mileage tires. Called the big-name tire shops in Jackson…then called Jim’s. For the same specs, Jim’s beat the others prices by a few hundred dollars.
Second, the grocery-getter suddenly sounded like a Mustang, but didn’t look like one. Made an appointment for the next day to get the exhaust fixed. It was completed within 2-3 hours at a fantastic price!
These guys have earned our business!

My truck is in having springs replaced. I have taken my vehicles here when I have a job I don't want to do or can't. In this case, the springs for this truck are too heavy for me to handle. I usually trust these guys to take good care of me. I must admit I can't see what they are telling me, but some of it doesn't sound right.
I guess I will see it in the end. If I have guessed, they will do the work I am used to. Update: not happy. I asked how much it would be, and the man said he would have to look at it. He called back to say all four would be almost 800. I told him we would just do the rears. He told me 375 for the rear two. Here in lies the problem.
If you give a repair estimate and you look at the vehicle, you would know what it needed before you give the estimate. Secondly, anyone who professionally does springs knows you don't use any of the old bolts.
So I picked up the truck, and the bill is 770.23. 372.86 in parts, and they still used two of the old bolts. Disappointing. I'll just do my own work or go elsewhere.

Jim's Auto Body & Service was a very good experience from start to finish. The tech acknowledged me immediately, in a pleasant, friendly, professional, and experienced way. He gave me an estimate right then. It was 100 % accurate, no surprises or additions. The work was perfect. They were able to start in 2 weeks and they said the work would take 2 weeks to complete, which was exactly what it took. My van looked better than it did, when I picked it up from the car dealer, when I bought it used a year and a half ago. I would absolutely recommend them to friends and family. I received a recommendation from someone and that is how I ended up going to them myself. Thank you, Jim's Auto Body, for a job well done, on all points!!!
