Unorganized, rude, and inconsistent. I would recommend any other pharmacy.

I went here at 3 in the morning for an emergency oxycodone prescription for a post-surgical treatment. The drive thru tried to charge me almost $400 for it claiming the insurance card I handed them expired in 2017. I only worked for the company I have insurance for six months; so I knew they were wrong. They told me to “come inside and say they’re wrong it to their face”; so I did. Lo and behold, they entered the information incorrect after showing me a printed screenshot of what they entered. They did not apologize for their mistake. I only paid $28. Place’s pharmacy is sketchy AF. I don’t feel like need to get in a near-altercation to get pain medicine for post-surgical emergencies. I’m going to the one across town from now on.

Pharmacy team is actually horrible with the way they speak to people. If you don’t like your job go work somewhere else cause the customer service is nonexistent.

There was an awesome lady named Sonja, who helped me out in the photo department this past weekend at the Walgreens on Henry and Sherman. She was so calm and pleasant and seemed to truly enjoy her job. When she took a look at my total for my online photo order, she didn’t think it looked right. I told her than I thought my total was correct because I did punch in the coupon code when I made my order online. She thought the total still looked more expensive than it should have been. And she was right! She took the time to adjust it for me so I didn’t overpay. I feel like a lot of other people might just look at the total and think “it is what it is” and not bother to question it. Thank you, Sonja for loving what you do and for actually helping me save money. ?

I’m not one to usually leave negative reviews, but I have been A Walgreens customer for years and moved to Michigan last year and tries to give this location on Sherman a chance for about the last year. The pharmacy team there treated me like I was somehow a criminal every time I tried to fill a prescription (electronically submitted) from my Dr in Illinois. They always kept me on a long hold when trying to contact, and almost every month made me contact my dr to resubmit the prescription. The last two times I tried to fill it, they canceled the order for no reason, and never informed me about it.. I would have to contact my Dr. who is also equally confused to send it agai , only to have them cancel it again. I know what any reasonable person reading this is thinking.. “the pharmacy had good reason for what they did.. you are d***** That’s what I started to ask myself after months of being treated like a criminal for trying to fill my prescription and getting attitude/zero explanation from pharmacy staff I spoke with. However, with the advice from my Dr. i changed pharmacies and have zero issues with Rite Aid. Do not use the 24 HR pharmacy on Sherman in Muskegon, they are rude and could not care less about your personal needs. I could go into more detail but I am done waisting anymore time with this place. Truly awful experience for the better part of the year.

They are very rude to customers and the way they talk is aggravating. And they give you an appointment and when it’s time they are not ready for it.

The Sherman/Roberts location in Muskegon is awful. I scheduled an appointment for a covid booster online and filled out all of the forms. When I arrived, I gave the pharmacy tech my ID and vaccine card. She left with them for about 45 seconds & told me it would be about 15 minutes. (No problem). I asked if I needed to sign anything additional. She said they would do that when the vaccine is given. As I was waiting, it got quite busy. After 45 minutes, I went up and asked how much longer I should expect. The SAME pharmacy tech, again asked for my ID and my vaccine. I handed them to her again, reminding her that she had already taken them. She asked me standard questions (the same questions I had filled out online) & handed me a clipboard, that also had those same questions again. After filling out the same form that I had already filled out online, I waited another 10 minutes. I was called up to the window, only to be told that since I had had immunizations recently, I was unable to get the covid vaccine today. NOTHING on the website mentions anything about that, besides the line that says that they can also give other immunizations, along with the covid vaccine. No apology from the pharmacy tech acknowledging that she just made me wait an hour because she didn't communicate that I was there for my 3pm appointment. If I had been given the form the first time I went to the window (obviously they don't look at or use the online forms), I hopefully would have found out way sooner that I would not be getting the vaccine and not wasted even more of my time. Overall, a disappointing and frustrating experience. This location is within a 60 second drive from my work. I will NEVER visit this location for any products or services. Totally disappointed.

the worst customer service ever. I've had SEVERAL problems with this pharmacy. Not to mention, the workers are very rude and unpleasant to talk to; they seem very unhappy. Not to mention, I do not like the pharmacy hanging up on me when I ask if they have flu shots available. Would not recommend going here to get your prescription filled.

I came to this Walgreens location to fill several prescriptions (one being a narcotic) after being struck by a vehicle in Detroit, MI (area), sustaining several facial fractures. The pharmacist, Andy treated me as though I was a criminal and had done something wrong when I attempted to fill the prescriptions. He took a glance at the prescriptions and said, " Why are you filling them here? Why didn't you fill them in Detroit?" I explained to him that I am not from Detroit. I am from North Carolina and visiting family in Muskegon. I explained to Andy that I flew into the Detroit airport with expectations to drive into Muskegon but was hit by a car before I could get here. I gave Andy my insurance information, never going to check my information in his computer, Andy says" I don't know that the insurance will let me fill it if you are from a different state (probably assuming I had Medicaid/Medicare). I really am not understanding why you are here." I have never been treated like this at any establishment where I was a customer. I frequently travel and typically use Walgreens for my prescription but I will be reconsidering my choice of pharmacy after this experience. Andy did not go over to his computer to actually check any information until my daughter arrived and identified herself as a registered nurse and confronted Andy on his lack of customer service skills. Andy explained to us that he has to talk to customers like that due to "good faith dispensing" that he is required to complete. My daughter informed Andy that "good faith dispensing" does not give him the right to interrogate customers based on his perception of them and that the appropriate term for what he is doing is called discrimination. Please avoid this Walgreens if you can
