I can't say enough about my experience with Morgan Egner. She was extremely knowledgeable and ready to answer any question I had regarding the 2025 Foresters. She worked with me tirelessly to make sure I bought the exact Forester I wanted. She even worked around my schedule for the vehicle pickup. This is the second Subaru Forester I have purchased from My Subaru of Muskegon and I couldn't be happier!

Bought a brand new 2024 Subaru Crosstrek. I love it. The car is great. My mom liked it so much that I brought her to MySubaru and she bought a Subaru Crosstrek a month later. Who can pass up on free oil changes for life! Here is my problem though. I was promised a referral bonus for my mother and after three months of trying to get it, I am giving up. My mom and I also came in for a training thing for our cars and we were promised gift cards each for gas. We could’ve gone to the Grand Rapids location to buy our cars, but chose My Subaru because I was impressed when I bought my car. After three months I have also given up I’m getting gas cards for either of us. As impressed as I was when I went to get my car, I am not impressed with any follow up at all. It’s like as soon as they sold the cars we didn’t exist anymore. I gave the dealership three months to get this straight before I wrote a review.
This is an update to my review. Like I said staff is very friendly, but they need to work up on their follow through. After four months I finally got my referral check and gas cards. John, head of sales, finally called me and straightened things out. Makes me feel a little happier that someone took care of this. Excited for the new building and hopefully the new staff changes. You can’t go wrong with a Subaru! Great longevity and extremely good gas mileage. Will definitely be back. Thank you!

If could I would give zero stars, I bought my 2017 Subaru outback a year ago and worked with Andre not a very honest guy. The first time I took it in for a oil change they said I needed a rear wheel alinement, I was told that everything had been checked out on the car and all was good, when I told them this they said, Michigan has a lot of pot holes you must have hit one. So less then three months into owning my car I had to get a wheel alinement and had to change the back right wheel bearing (not an easy job trying to get that wheel bearing out). Andre said that everything on the car was checked out and all was good, that was a lie. Just like someone else said on here said, it's like they are all nice and lovey dovey until you buy the car then it's like they don't even want to talk to you. I have been in several times for oil changes and Andre sees me and walks the other way doesn't even want to look me in the eyes, he must feel guilty. I hope you guys get new management because your customer service is horrible. I will be purchasing my wife's new Assent from the dealer in Grand Rapids.

SCAM ARTISTS!!! After our only set of keys were stolen for our 2014 Crosstrek we called My Subaru because other dealerships said they were the only ones who could program a new key. They charged us $260 for a new key and said bring the car and they could program it for $100 but after renting a trailer and getting the car there they said it would be $1300 because they had to remove the computers, send them in and have them wiped clean and reprogrammed. We ended up contacting Rynbergs in twin lake and they had a guy come to us and for $166.21 he programmed that key, a new key and a second key for my truck. This is why I refuse to go to big name dealers, they don't care about customers they only care about $$. Gone are the days of earning customers, now it's all about trapping them.

Giving my business to this Subaru store was the biggest mistake I could have made when it came to my poor late Subaru. The man that sits at the front desk was incredibly rude on several different occasions and they downgraded our vehicle quote by $300 to name a few things. BUYER BEWARE!
UPDATE: I sold my Subaru to this location before Memorial Day of this year and have YET to receive a check.

We chose a car. Completed the applications and credit check. The car was reserved. And then Muskegon Subaru sold the car to someone else. They never told us or contacted us. They did not return our calls as we waited for the car. Why would anyone do business with them?
