The folks here were very kind and accommodating. However, they simply did a sub par job butchering my deer. Nearly every piece has a substantial amount of silver skin and / or fat still, making it taste very gamey. I have to trim every piece after I take it out of the freezer. Very disappointed, will not be taking my deer here next year.

Have some of the best steaks I have ever tasted. You can now use a card, so my review goes back to 5 stars. I really enjoy the jerky also.

I purchased a standing rib roast for Christmas (4 bone) that was awesome! I have always enjoyed their selection and meats from their brauts, & beef short ribs. I highly recommend this butcher shop.

John Drummond's Butcher Shop has the best meat around & the bacon is just to die for! John was very nice & helpful. I think this is the best butcher shop I've ever shopped at & the prices beat regular grocery stores too. This is my go to place for meat.

Nothing better than a HomeTown put tree and I'm not talking about Skype for me where they leave the hair on the chicken or should I say residual on the chicken coronavirus hair on it and they left work Drummond's hairless chicken and haven't been shut down by there local food inspection agencyKeep up the good work local down home butcher

I shot a Deer this year n cut it up myself, the Burger meat I took to them to Ground , on the phone I was told 46# but when I picked it up , but shame on me didn't count the 1# packages till I got home , it was 36# . I was charged a $110.00 for that... .in talking on the phone with someone there they were telling me what a great deal it was n that I should've brought the whole deer in , if that isn't Greed you tell me what is...HORRIBLEI will NOT Recommend anyone to go there for anything...very very ticked

I went into Drummond’s Butcher Shop this morning for the first time to purchase meat after seeing their flyer on line. A very kind woman was helping me, because their meat case was pretty empty and she was explaining why. I had no problem, picked out a roast(I use it to make my dogs food), but unfortunately a VERY RUDE man came from back and wanted to know what was going on?!? I told him his very kind employee was answering some questions for me, and I was making a purchase. He said that they had NO TIME FOR THIS , because they had deer to process?!?! Excuse me? I asked him if he doesn’t want new business or does deer processing keeps him busy all year round?!?! He said no, but then was rude again, and said had no time for this!!! I was at their atm, in the process of taking money out, but told the young worker to forget it, I changed my mind!!! No one will treat me that way!! I hope he processes enough deer to keep the lights on, because his prices are the same as Meijer's (and doesn’t cost me that much gas to drive that far out there) and he has NO selection to choose from!!!Maybe he will learn to treat people differently!!!Happy Hunting,Rhonda

Very limited selection, paid 9.99 lb. For steak that was tougher than shoe leather! They don't take credit or debit cards so you have to pay 2.75 to use their ATM machine. Pretty slick way to make even more money ? we absolutely will never stop foot inside any of their "meat markets" again!! We'll go to Scott's or Ken's fruit market
