I bought quite a bit of furniture from Vern's a few months ago as I relocated from Florida, except for having to help unload even though I paid for delivery, it was great. Today December 22nd, I went in there with my husband and my brother who was here from out of town just to look as my brother had never been to a thrift store. I found a Schwinn Airdyne bike, that I did not need however it had a $20 dollar sticker with a blue mark through it. Rolled it up front and took the sticker off the seat and gave it to the gentleman at the register. I did this because previously I purchased 11 items, almost all quite expensive and it was a disaster for them to ring up and to keep track of what they needed to deliver. I took the sticker off to be helpful. I was basically accused of just putting a lower price sticker on and trying to get a lower price. It wasn't just me, my husband and brother felt the same way. He said that is not the right sticker and proceeded to look it up on his phone. I am well aware of the cost of the bike, I am a professional bodybuilder and fitness trainer. Then he noticed there was a $12 dollar sticker on the handle that I did not see, so obviously I was not trying to scam anyone. Said well that is not the right sticker either. Then said he could let me have it for $50 and then $30. Telling me it was a high ticket item because of Christmas coming up. Most of their gym equipment was in bad shape and this bike needed work as well. I hope it was worth it to lose my business as I will never be going back nor taking any family when they visit. I was made to feel very uncomfortable. I would be too concerned that the price is not the price or heaven forbid I try to help to give by giving them the sticker. I cannot recommend and it I could give zero stars I would.

Great variety and excellent prices. All around great people who work here. If you’re looking for something in particular they more than likely have it! Jewelry and furniture selection is unmatched.
