Had the pleasure of working with Frankie to purchase a new to me Corvette. This sales guy was badass...responded to texts and emails immediately, met me on my time, and worked with me to get 99% of the transaction done over email and phone. The weather in Michigan has been a problem but finally the car was delivered just like I bought it. Want to sell cars? Do what Frankie does. Can't wait for warmer weather!

I bought a monte Carlo and a Chevy Silverado there and both were overpriced clunkers. I sued them in small claims court and won both cases but they refused to pay. After I paid a process server to collect the $6750 total they owed, they hired an expensive law firm from grand Haven to take the judgement to a judge for it to be set aside. They only were successful because they told the judge that the sales manager had nothing to do with this dealership which was untrue. Blake Born was listed as the manager on the betten baker website.

I put things aside and went in to give him a second chance on a new vehicle and walked out again.

I had 3 very unpleasant experiences with this dealership: I was car shopping. I sat down with a salesman who was very helpful in providing me with the all information in which I had asked. As soon as I told him that I was still shopping and was not going to buy a car that very day, his attitude shifted to unfriendly and spiteful. I did, in fact, buy this exact car in which we spoke about - from a different dealership, of course. I took my car in for an oil change. At the hour and a half mark I went to the desk to ask for an update only to see my car still sitting in the garage. The employee explained to me that they were backed up because a mechanic called in sick. If this was known at the time my car was dropped off, a heads up would have been proper. To add, the fact that I was the one initiate the update is a little confusing. I ended up waiting three hours. I took my car in for another oil change. When done, I got in my car to see that the "check engine" light was on. The employee calls it a "dumby" light and proceeds to clear the error code. The oil percentage on my dash was not reset as well. A few weeks after, I find that my oil is leaking due to the oil filter not be screwed on tightly. Because of the endless inconveniences, the dealership gave me a free oil change. However, I would rather pay for an oil change somewhere else than to go back here again.
