Gave me crooked bed. $1700 Never followed through with the new footboard. Never buy there again. It's been over a year. You are not saving money if it's bad product. IMO

I purchased a bunk bed for my kids at Loftz. My initial experience was good. We were greeted, but given an opportunity to look around without any pressure. The salesman was very helpful with any questions we had. After thinking about it for a couple of days we decided to go ahead with our purchase. That is when things went wrong! We live about 40 minutes away from the store, so my husband went to pick up the bed with our trailer. After he got home and started putting it together we discovered that they sent us home with 2 different beds! Also, there was a huge defect in the wood of the bottom bed! I called the store and they said they would make sure we got the correct headboards for the top bed and replace the defective headboard on the bottom bed. I asked if they would deliver it since it was not our fault and now we are wasting more of our time and gas and had to hassle with the trailer again. The guy said that they would have it ready and insisted that it should fit in our mid-size SUV alleviating the need for the trailer. I said I would have to talk to my husband since he's the one who would have to go get it and he works 60-70 hours/wk. After talking with my husband we felt that since it was the stores error, they should deliver the correct bed. When I talked to the salesman he said that they don't do that and no other store would either. I said that's not true b/c other stores have done things like that as a service to the customer. I said we will just bring the bed back then b/c we are not happy with the service! Then he said that I couldn't bring it back b/c it was a closeout deal! I told him that no one ever told us that and I would like to see where it says that. He said it's just their policy and they can only do exchanges, not returns. I was irate at this point and told him I would call the news if I had to b/c that is not good business. I paid $1300 for this bed and was not satisfied at all with the quality or the service I was receiving now that the sale was over! He said he would talk to the owner and get back with me. A few minutes later I received a call that they would deliver it. When the delivery was made they offered to let my husband inspect it, however, he opted not to b/c he had worked all night and was exhausted. He assumed that they would have checked the boards to make sure they were in good condition. After we opened the new box we noticed there was a big crack in one of the spindles! I immediately notified the store. They said that it wasn't their problem b/c they offered to let him inspect it and he didn't. I said I understand that, however, this is not the "quality" I would expect from a $1300 bed (which was originally over $2k)! He said he would replace it, but we would have to go there. We were so frustrated with the whole situation we decided to just let it be b/c we didn't want to deal with it anymore. Needless to say, I will not shop there in the future and I would definitely not recommend them to anyone else! Also, they charge a finance charge for their 0% credit card plans!

We purchased 3 beds from this store. After 6 months, our mattress was sagging in middle, body impression in the foam within the pillow top became holes, the bottom edge of the mattress slanted out on a angle and the binding came loose. When calling the store rather than offering help I was interrogated about how often I turned the mattress and told that "someone must be sitting on the edge of the bed" and the sagging issue is caused by "excessive body impressions". YES excessive body impressions on a mattress. I couldn't help but laugh at that one. I was then asked to take pictures of the mattress and email them. A few days later, they called and told me that they could could honor the manufacturer warranty IF there were no stains on the mattress. Well if you have children, you know that unless you keep the plastic on the mattress, LIFE HAPPENS. We did have a stain on the mattress and had it cleaned, which only made the issue worse. 1 year later my husband sleeps on the couch because it is not possible for 2 people to sleep in this bed. I sleep on the back side of the mattress. I wake up approx. every hour from discomfort and although the store recognizes that there is a defect with the mattress, they still will not exchange the mattress due to the stain. When I went to the store, I asked to speak to the store owner, I was told he had just left. I suggested that he wasn't far and could come back. I was told that I could speak to him after he made deliveries. Rather than dealing with the manufacture rep themselves, I was handed the phone to talk to with him myself. It is obvious this store is not interest in selling quality products or ensuring that their customers are provided the best products for their $$. They seem to only be willing to help and provide good customer service IF the manufacturer will honor the warranty. It seems to me that if it is obvious as an owner or manager of a store that if you sold a customer an inferior product, you return it, provide your customer with a new item and deal with the manufacturer yourself.
