“A small, quaint gift shop in the middle of town. They have a mix of Munising/UP souvenirs and general Hallmark-type decor and trinkets. We bought locally made huckleberry jam from Sault Ste. Marie, a cute Christmas ornament, a couple magnets, and nice quality crewneck sweatshirts that had “Munising” and kayaks on them. The sweatshirts were pricey (>$40), but they were quite thick and well-made. Material/fabric quality, thus prices, seemed to vary; it looks as though they are supplied from different apparel vendors, and you just have to compare your options. There wasn’t a big selection of different T-shirt/sweater designs depicting the Pictured Rocks—mostly of Munising, UP, or Michigan in general. If you like Big Foot/Sasquatches, they got you covered. They also sell Minnetonka shoes. Overall, it’s an eclectic shop, and you’d probably find something you like for yourself or to gift. The highlight was the shop’s owner, Jerry. When we arrived he was bringing in boxes from his car and struck up a conversation. He was very friendly and polite. We found out that he created his own computer program for the store’s inventory/cashier. Through our pleasant conversation, he convinced us to come back to the UP but in the winter (sometime in the future!). We left satisfied with our purchases, knowing we supported a small, local business. Thank you, Jerry!”
