Decent Rv place; just fine for tent camping. Free WiFi, helpful staff, clean restrooms for a busy site. The only dislike I have is that it is on a fairly busy and noisy highway..of course, if you're in an RV it doesn't really matter.

My husband, sister and brother in law camped here for a week in September. It is a beautiful campground situated right on Lake Superior. It’s location on the lake was perfect for rock hunting and watching beautiful sunsets. Our golden boy, Bo loved swimming in the lake each day. It was so convenient to all the Pictured Rocks activities. Grand Marais is about an hour’s drive away. We will definitely come again!

In the summer this is a busy and crowded campground. We stayed 3 nights just off the water (more privacy) in a site with water and 30 amp electric hook-up - site #16. We had to work a bit to find the most level (side to side) spot to park. We enjoyed the location close to the water front and close to town and the easy access to Pictured Rocks National Seashore Park. Hosts were helpful.

Super close to Munising!I will say the only thing about this trip that was a thumbs down was the weather it rained the whole time, making things wet and sandy if you stay on the rustic area it is completely beach!. Be prepared for the loud noise of the road that does make it feel a little less like camping but with some music it can be tuned out. night time you can hear loud tires going over rumple strips as well so maybe prepare with ear plugs. either than that the man at the front desk was very friendly, water is beautiful but to cold to swim in the end of September. would come back to this camp ground again. Wheel barrows helped a ton for hauling your gear back to camp!

Nice sites right on the beach, and if you have one in the inner park, there are access points to the beach. Most sites have electric and water. A lot of sites share the location of the water and electricity, so make sure to have extra hose and cord. It gets really dusty and sandy, but it's a beautiful view. There is some road noise from the busy road out front, but a TV in the evening drowns it out. The location is good, and close to Munising. Not far from boat docks for pictured rocks and for Grand island.

Camping right on Lake Superior? Yes please! This park was a great location to relax, have a bonfire and camp. Do know—if camping on one of the beach sites, you do have to park and wagon your stuff to the site. It’s not too far, but just know that and maybe bring your own wagon! They do have one to use.Bathroom was clean and the park was well maintained. They could do a bit of work on the trail to the campsites to lessen the flooding when it rains. Definitely watch out for rain as the flooding happened quite fast.Would definitely stay again!

Awesome facilities for RVs, tent campers and more.I stayed at two types of sites during my stay: a beachfront walk-up site with sandy ground (no electric hookup) and a drive-up grass ground electric/waste hookup site along the lakefront. Both were equally majestic but I preferred the drive-up sites because they were closer to the “good” bathrooms. The facilities closer to the RV park have individual, locking showers and updated bathrooms. The facilities near the beachfront sites are frequently sandy and wet. However, both are thoroughly cleaned daily! The staff here is excellent and friendly as heck.If you’re looking for privacy and a more traditional camping experience, I would recommend the walk-up beachfront sites. If you prefer electric hookups, quick bathroom access and family vibes, I would recommend the drive-up sites.

Sunshine, a site right on Lake Superior, Northern Lights, friendly neighbors....what more could we ask for? Seriously, this was a favorite stop this summer. Google Maps was a bit wonky and took us to places unknown, but a phone call to the campground got us there with no problem. Utilities are shared, so make sure your cables/ hoses will reach (although a neighbor was able to borrow a 20' cord from the campground.)

This is our second time staying and it was just as good this time as it was the first. We stayed in the rustic tent area that are directly on the beach (one of our favorite parts!). Each site has a fire pit and picnic table. Bathrooms/showers are clean are good for a campground. They do offer a variety of things at the main office ranging from ice and firewood to branded merch and camping gear. The area is so nice and we will definitely be back. Also to note this is a very dog friendly campground, as long as they are leashed. We had our pup and noticed lots of others did as well.

An awesome location with plenty of space. Great deal!! We basically got a whole stretch of private beach front space to camp at, complete with picnic table and bonfire pit. Stayed there two nights, and it was a wonderful two nights. We even saw the northern lights while we were there one night!!!

Drove six hours to get here and it was so worth it! Second time visiting and somehow this experience was even better than the last! They have areas for tents and areas for campers/rvs. They also have bathrooms here and they were clean! Our campsite was the perfect distance from Lake Superior. Relaxing atmosphere. Very affordable! Looking forward to visiting again.

This is a very nice Campground owned by the city of Marquette. $50 gets you full hook up. Reservations only, no walk ups. Just minutes from Presque Isle Park, the Superior Dome, the University, and the hospital. Downtown is close by as is shopping. Hiking and biking trails abound in this area. This is a good spot to camp if you're interested in exploring the Marquette area.

The sites didn't have very many trees and so there wasn't very much shade and there wasn't very good access to the beach unless you had a campsite that was literally next to the beach. Everyone else either has to walk through somebody else's campsite or walk half a mile down to the main entrance and then back to the beach. But this is one of the very few sites that have full hookups which is really nice.

Overall we had a great stay at this campground!Price was great!Location was amazing: close to a lot of things we did, right on the clean, beautiful, beach.Kids enjoyed the hidden trails to ride bikes on.Staff was friendly!Store always had what we needed. Some other reviews complained of highway noise. It is right off the highway and I did hear it when I paid attention to it, but it was not bothersome to my family.Showers were not clean. Shower heads were very low (I had to bend very low to rinse my hair.)Every other campsite seemed to have an issue with water/ electric because it's on the wrong side. If you're hose or cords aren't long enough that makes things interesting. We would stay here again! We really enjoyed our trip to the UP!Nearby activities: Close to fishing, water falls, hikes, and more. We did both the Shipwreck tour and the Pictured rock tour. While we enjoyed both, if we had to only pick one we unanimously agreed Pictured Rocks cruise (bring a blanket!).Food & drinks: We tried pasties at Muldoons: I thought they were great, my husband hoped for more veggies, said they had too many potatoes. The apple pie one was fantastic! The crust on all of them were flaky and delicious.

Water would go cold in the middle of a shower. Park is two swings and a metal slide from the 80s. Not family friendly.
