Yes, this please is really beautiful but you can’t argue a point to spend $10 for sights you can see down the road that are arguably better. I was through and out within 10 minutes which yes you could spend more time but definitely not enough for what you pay for. The beautiful scenery and friendly service doesn’t cover up the fact that this place is nothing more than a tourist trap.

It's privately owned so you have to pay $10.00 per person to walk the place. It was worth it to us, but you must decide.

Magical place! Mysteries and relaxing. The gift shop is a unique and fantastic place by itself, but then you are stepping into fantastic garden! It well maintained and logically organized, it has a waterwheel - cool feature to show to your kids. The gnomes hunt attracts your kids and adds interactive experience with the place. All trees have names and descriptions.

$10 admission, but well worth it. If you have little ones, this is a must-see. The gnome hunt was so fun, even for the parents. The names are so hilarious. The people that run the store are so nice. I highly recommend. ?

This waterfall spot is Gorgeous ?
It's on private property so you have to pay admission (10$ for adults and 8$ for kids 3 and up) BUT the garden area and the waterfall are breathtaking. Also the kiddos get to do a gnome scavenger hunt, get hats to keep, and get a little prize at the end! The gift shop has some beautiful art pieces, jewelry, dragons and fairy decor and tons more. They also have hand scooped ice cream which was yummy! My personal favorite thing is the "Horseshoe Falls oil they have for sale. It's what the whole gift shop smells like, it's intoxicating to say the least, and the vials are only 3$/ea! ❤️

costs $10 per person to go past the gift shop so we sat this one out, so many free waterfalls around here

Tourist trap!! Scam, have to enter and leave thru the gift shop. Big signs “if you break you bought” shelves are tiny and flimsy!

At first glance it may feel like your typical tourist trap but it was well worth the ten dollars entrance fee. The fall was quite spectacular and the the trail is nice and short. The gnome hunt was a fun distraction for my kids and they are grown ups. The trout pond though murky, was nice to see. There's educational element to what each tree can do. I highly recommend it.

Very tranquil place. Gift shops have a variety of souvenirs and apparel. Right off the main road in Munising.

Not spending 10 dollars a person money to see a waterfall..... go to the other 10 around the area just as beautiful and free.

This is one of the better gift shops in the area, in my opinion. It's very new age but also has the typical tourist souvenirs as well. The woman working here is so kind, I spent some time talking with her about the falls and the area. I don't think the $10 is exorbitant, look you're on vacation, you're going to be spending some money. Plus, you can end up having the falls all to yourself which is nice. It's actually the best waterfall in the area, so I think it's worth it. The grounds are gorgeous, there's a duck pond, a garden, a billion gnomes, and different types of tress with informational signs about them. This was the best stop for me in the Munising area.

Horseshoe is more than just a quick trip a waterfall. The owners have really dedicated a lot of effort into the experience for their customers. Yes you have to pay, but if you actually take in all the features, it's more than worth it.My wife and I went to 3 different falls and I'd say this one had the shortest walk but we spent 3x as long here. The gardens, the information plaques about the trees and plants, the trout pond and gift shop, all made for a very delightful experience.

Very cute place. It's a bit pricey, $20 per person, hence why I took one star off. However, hubby and I were trying to complete the waterfall challenge and had to check this one off our list. They also offer challenges and you can feed the fish/ducks at the pond.As for the waterfall itself, it's definitely a lovely sight. Highly recommend going at least once.
