We’re traveling from out of town and having issues with a tire. Aaron was so helpful and filled our spare up for us! Super thankful for the help and making sure we were okay to go, even though it was time for the store to close!

Greatest car breakdown experience ever -
I would recommend Auto Value to anyone in or around town for all your auto needs (they are incredibly smart and kind and generous) and also if you just wanted to stop in for a chat :)
We're three kids on a road trip far from home and ended up with a bad alternator (something we know absolutely nothing about) we went into Auto Value to get a jump pack and were met with kindness and encouragement from Jake and help from Nate (a former employee) who diagnosed our problem for free since all the auto shops were closed. Once the alternator was theorized to be the problem Jake immediately had it ordered to arrive the next morning for us.
The next day all the Munsing shops were booked up and Aaron helped me connect with other local shops and talk me through my options and when nothing worked out with other places he charged our battery and took us to his home shop (he happens to be a retired mechanic himself) and installed our alternator for free! So incredibly grateful to the whole team for saving our trip and taking care of us at every step.
With all done and solved we went and visited beautiful falls recommended by Aaron's family then were finally able to get back out and fish on one of the many beautiful lakes in the UP :)

Stopped today for oil as our Subaru's oil pressure light was on. Aaron helped us get the correct oil and added it. He was very friendly and helpful. We really appreciated it, as we have a long return trip coming up.

We are up in the UP from New Orleans for the summer. While at Grand Marais, we got a flat tire. After getting help to put the spare on from a nice guy, we headed to Munising. Made the stop we were going there for and then to the Auto Value Store.
The employee and one of the local men helped us get the tire fixed and put it back on the car.
We can't thank these guys enough. Their thoughtfulness is deeply appreciated. Yoopers are awesome and the greatest.

Shop here.Sat mornin. Left our gas cap on the roof of the car in Escanaba mi. Gas smell was super bad. Thought we were having car problems. Finally figured out what it was. Fine gentleman . He was going to close. He got us a new OE cap. And we were onto our next destination. Thank you sir

Just so everyone knows, they aren’t allowed to use the check engine scanner on vehicles anymore due to liability reasons. It’s not the cashiers fault, so don’t be mad when they say no. They have the scanners for sale, so you can scan it yourself, or take it to a shop where there are trained mechanics to do so.

A girl friend and I started having some car problems before a road trip, Justin was able to diagnose the problem as soon as the store opened and gave us some great advice. 20/10 would recommend.
