“So very efficient and knowledgeable for the seniors out there! They explain and are a no fuss or extra hidden charges! They will even caution you on scams currently being tried. I’ll never return to any of the banks again. It’s small town friendly and respectful.”

“Treated well, good rates and programs and fraudulent activities quickly resolved. The Mt Pleasant branch has long term employees who are friendly and knowledgeable. Have been with Lake Trust since it was SECU and have no reason to look elsewhere for our banking needs.”

“Good morning Jacquie, (Card Services) Oh how elated we are as customers of Isabella Bank! Your helpfulness, trust, and expedient action regarding my recent account situation has been beyond anything we have experienced recently! I am VERY VERY happy to say we bank at Isabella Bank and WE APPRECIATE what you do! My Card was compromised (used) at 1:35 P.M on September 12th, Blocked by Isabella Bank at 1:36 P.M. (WOW!) and between the quick response of yourself, on behalf of Isabella, and the "agent" at eBay, all things were set aright within five days, including a SATURDAY! All that remained was for the provisional monies to be removed from our account, which has now been completed. THANK YOU SO MUCH! The reality is that in today's age of technology, accounts will be compromised. However, I feel better knowing that I have a bank that takes that reality seriously and provides VIRTUAL ARMOUR for our money that we entrust to Isabella Bank! Thank you so much, again, on behalf of our family!”

“I read other reviews from a few years ago and I agree that the staff and service at the Mt. Pleasant branch was dreadfully bad. Fifth Third offered a cheap business bank account and decided to try. Over the past year or two, I have had great service from friendly tellers to great bankers. I have accounts at 3 banks. So far, Fifth Third has done very well!”

“MR. MALEK HASSAN helped me gain my financial freedom, and I can't thank him enough for his assistance and guidance. I lost so much money trading alone until met Mr. Hassan. He is a very trusted and reliable Forex/Crypto trader that has good trading signals and strategies that can help you win whenever you trade. I invested $500 with MR. HASSAN and to my greatest surprise, I made a whopping sum of $6,100 within a week. Now, I'm earning a good amount of profit on a weekly basi”

“Absolutely love this credit union! The first and last one that I will ever need! Amazing customer service. The only bad thing here is they do not have a drive-thru ATM! I'm sure it would mean a lot to the community to consider having at least one of your locations with easy access to an ATM. I highly believe this would benefit not only the elderly, handicap, and pregnant women, but also save the rest of us during the weather! Keep up the great work!”

“I can't speak to Huntington Bank as a financial institution, as I don't have much experience in dealing with them. I primarily use 5/3, but my parents were lifetime Chemical Bank customers who briefly became PNC customers, and ultimately became Huntington Bank customers. When they both died and I took over their estate affairs, I spent A LOT of time in the Mount Pleasant branch working through things.

Something I noted on day one is the attention they pay to their customers. Nearly every person who walks in the door is greeted by name before even making it to the counter. Granted, with the prevalence and convenience of online banking, they likely don't see THAT many new faces in-branch anymore, but it really struck a chord with me. It wasn't more than a couple visits before I, too, was being welcomed by name as I came in the door.

Matt, in particular has always been very helpful and understanding in the many times I've visited. He even remembers my brother's name and details I've shared about him. I'm happy where I'm at, but wouldn't hesitate to use their banking if I ever felt the need to change institutions.”

“So, I'm not shy when it comes to providing negative feedback online, and I'm really confused about the rating on here? I've been with this office twice, once as a teen with a savings account, and now as an adult with a joint account I share with my fiance. I've never once had any unforgivable issues with them, in getting my paperwork, any account updates, expensive loan approvals, so on. I've only had one rude person when I was a teenager, and I think they Might have one rude receptionist now, but honestly, take that with a grain of salt because I nor my fiance ever really have to deal with them. There are some system bugs, but every company suffers those, and if it's ever cost us money then we've always been reimbursed. Every bank you deal with will have difficulties in staffing and programming/wiring, and every loan approval needs red tape. We're poor too, we live in government housing, and we'll never be off medicaid - I know how it is and they know how it is for us, too. They just can't give away that money. The issues we've had are typically minor, and we've only had two major problems but they get resolved (at maximum) within a few weeks. At minimum, within the hour. The staff when they talk to us are always matter-of-fact and honest, and they know their policies and abilities as tellers very well! They're kind and share insider detail on their business model with us unprompted, which is always helpful. As young adults who aren't super familiar with the industry, they're well- informed and quite generous! We know enough to know when we're being taken advantage of, or being led on, and we've never really felt that way here. I think if you ever have anyone being rude to you, it may be because they deal with crowds of people who's money is on the line, and who are (VERY understandably) so concerned with being taken advantage of that it turns into aggression. Even if you're an optimist like me, dealing with wave after wave of angry, confused, frustrated, and scared people really takes a toll on you. They're people, too. I like that they're not afraid of being human, at least around us, cuz last time I went in they were laughing and playing between tasks - not in the lazy way, in the way that made for a nice atmosphere. It felt real, not robotic. If you prefer your bank not look or sound human, then don't go through a credit union. My silly and petty salt aside, I don't blame the other negative ratings. People who are in desperate need will say and do anything to vent their frustrations, and who knows, maybe they did have a bad time. I won't discredit them! I just don't see what they see. I'd give this place a chance if you're living in the area for a while.”
