My husband and I have purchased 2 Newfoundlands - 3 years ago and now 1 week ago- through Lynn Kay Kennels and have been very happy with our dogs. Marci is very thorough in explaining and giving written information on dog care, nutrition and is available for advice after purchase. The dogs are beautiful, well tempered and have minimal drool!

I got my pup from Lynn and it seemed to be a great experience. We were assured my pup was healthy with admittance they had all been taken to the vet after they were sick at 7 weeks. Two pups were still sick on site when I went and picked mine up. In one week (9 weeks old) we were in the ER overnight with insane blood transfusions and issues. Lynn was notified and responded via text. My puppy went through the night when the vet said he wouldn’t make it - thankfully he pulled though again after I spent another $3,000, my vet wrote a certified letter stating that the health issues came from the kennel and I attached receipts and a very kind letter -sent via hard copy in mail- asking if Lynn would help at all with the finances or at least refund the puppy price I had just paid. It was another 9 months of antibiotics and very attentive care to get him to a healthy condition. I DID NOT EVEN GET A RESPONSE from her or the kennel. This was incredibly disappointing as the letter was very kind and informative, they left us to die with knowledge of the sickness and thousands of dollars in fees. Terrible terrible practice and lack of responsibility. Sickening really because we liked them otherwise!

My Newfie Rick Growls is about to be a year old and I am SO happy I purchased him from Lynn Kay Kennels. My puppy has had no health problems, he was potty trained almost instantly (obviously with a consistent training schedule) and has not had an accident in my house since he was 5 months old. He is an angel when he is left home alone with my other dog, he rarely chews things that are not his toys, and when he has chewed on shoes or other items he just gums them so they don’t even end up destroyed!! ?? He seriously adores every animal and person he meets, and he is not reactive when I take him on walks, he’s always just happy to be out sniffing and meeting people. I obviously worked with and trained my dog to help him get to this point, but he is also just naturally very even tempered, gentle and loving, I credit those traits to his wonderful breeder. If I purchase a dog again in the future it will definitely be a Newfie from Lynn Kay Kennels. If you’d like to see more of Rick check him out on Instagram @tobyandrick_barkbrothers

We visited Lynn Kay Kennels to pick up our new puppy. Marci was very friendly and knowledgeable. She answered all my questions before I even asked and made it clear that I could contact her if I ever had any questions. The dogs all looked happy and healthy and were very friendly, and the facility was clean and spacious. Our puppy is perfect in every way. He is very healthy and cute and has a great personality! I highly recommend Lynn Kay Kennels if you are looking for a happy, healthy Newfie to add to your family!

We got our latest Newfie from Lynn Kaye Kennels. The process was smooth and easy, made so bu the knowledge and professionalism of Marci. Pickup was very informative, as well as giving us a very positive feeling about the environment that our pup was raised in. Now, three months later, our guys has grown from a 14 pound “chocolate chip “ to a 55 pound “chocolate chunk”. He is healthy, happy, and gets attention everywhere he goes. We could not be happier with the whole experience, and would enthusiastically recommend Lynn Kay to anyone looking for a Newfie as a new family member.

I Have a dog from this kennel. He is pretty small based on the other Newfoundland I have. I am amazed by these bad and good reviews. Perplexed by them. Here is my facts and thoughts. I saw the dogs who were running around the house and outside areas they seemed healthy and of proper size she was nice and informed and knew her business. Sat in her house and had a solid feeling she wasn't duping anyone as many have read and purported. The dog was picked up early my choice to do that and I could have chosen to leave it but who would after driving 6 hours. Zeeks been a fine dog friendly and has the proper demeanor. I am also shocked by the owner's responses and the veracity at which kinda or her daughter is bashing people who bought these dogs as really unprofessional and almost certifiable in as much as who would want to not have their issues resolved in private and then come back and change their opinion or change the review future state. I run a consumer focused business and no matter what the customer is going to be right even if they are wrong. Just my 2 cents. Setting the ranking this breeder provided me a dog that been solid and quite an addition to my family. I have zero issue with anything that may have been different ie picking up the dog at 8 for 9 weeks it worked for my schedule and required more dog me time to normalize his behavior again my choice. He grew up with my two daughters as babies and was awesome. Maybe resolving complaints in a partnership and keeping people happy could gone long way to better the relationships going forward. As a side. Note you can track and follow anyone who gives reviews as 5s and if they only gave one they are like bots or kids or friends and should be discounted but alas track gone down find out who they are if the desire is that strong. I'd love to hear from.other reasonably happy people versus the 1s and the 5s

We couldn't be any happier with our puppy Athena! My husband and I are so glad we chose Lynn Kay Kennels. I spoke with Marci through email back in August 2020 and she contacted me the same day with a plethora of information about how she and her mother run the kennel along with when she was going to be breeding. We went to check out the place in September. It was very clean and we got to meet some of the dogs. Hazel was the cutest and we hope she is growing nice and big. :) We asked for a brown female and were willing to wait but got super lucky and Marci let us know in October that there were some brown females and we could have one. Everything was easy; paying the deposit and communicating. If you have questions Marci is there to answer them whether you choose to get a puppy or not. They are very knowledgeable and they truly care about the dogs. We highly recommend!

My husband and I drove from Pittsburgh to Lynn K Kennels to pick up our puppy, Zebulon. What a fabulous experience! Marci greeted us so warmly, showed us Zeb's parents and all her other grown Newfies, and spent lots of time going over the paperwork. We like that Zeb came home with his microchip (thank you, Marci!) and his AKC registration. This photo is from his first dinner, after riding in the car all day. Please listen to Lynn K Kennels when they tell you about their puppies' food. We followed their advice and Zeb eats like a champ and will be double his weight from pickup day when he and I go for his next set of vaccinations. We are thrilled with our puppy! He's sweet, loving, and smart (and I know everyone says this about their dog). He and our eight year old Newf, Abe, play several times a day and then they sleep together on the floor. Zeb already knows to ring his bells to go outside and he is sleeping comfortably at night in his crate. We could not be happier with Zeb and are thrilled with our experience. Thank you, Lynn K Kennels, for this newest member of our family.

We searched for a dry mouth Newfie breeder and Lynn Kay Kennels always came out on top. Our‘Little’ girl (Beeftank) was driven to us in CO without incident and great care was taken by the delivery person. All our questions before purchase were answered and the kennel called to followed up as soon as she was delivered to us to ensure everything was going well and to go over all the care and feeding instructions. We would buy another puppy from them again!

I want to start off by saying the first time I ever met the owners of Lynn Kay Kennels, Linda Ward and Marci Ward-Kubik, was when I walked through the front door of Linda’s house. I am not a relative or employee and when I write reviews I tell the truth as I see it. If someone deserves praise, I give it to the extent that it is earned, and if someone earns a 5 star, they get one. Over the course of the year that I waited for Sophie, our new puppy, I corresponded with them by email and phone several times. The response to every inquiry, question, and reassurance (that we hadn’t been forgotten) message was prompt, polite and thorough. My daughter, a veterinarian very familiar with bad breeders, recommended we go to the facility and make sure we liked what we saw before making such an important purchase, so we flew to MI from NC. We arrived and Marci immediately took us on a tour of the property, showing us the dam and sire of our pup as well as introducing the other on-site canine members of the Lynn Kay family. I say it that way because that is what they are treated like - family. The dogs there were happy, friendly and well-mannered. Their coats were well groomed and as clean as large, playful dogs romping around in grass can be after copious amounts of rain. There was not a drooling mouth or droopy eye to be seen. Period. I learned that Linda had consulted with two geneticists very early on in her breeding program and with their help, successfully determined which lines she should breed to gain the dry mouth, and tight eye look she wanted. My daughter and I were very impressed at the knowledge of and love for the Newfoundland breed these two women displayed. Experience is an excellent teacher and it is evident they have learned a lot over the years. They begin socializing the pups at birth with both children and other dogs, and training them with the basics you must teach a puppy before it becomes the size of a pony. “No”, “No bark”, and “Off” are the first habits they concentrate on. Sophie had learned these by the time we picked her up at 8 weeks- not saying that she, like any toddler, doesn’t push it from time to time to see if the rules have changed, but she responds to correction admirably. None of the adult dogs we observed on the property jumped up on anyone and only one out of the whole tribe barked, and that was because he just wanted to say “hello” and couldn't get to us, not “get off my turf”! None were aggressive in the least, and all were gorgeous. Linda and Marci spent a long time answering our questions without condescension, tag teaming at times to handle other appointments. They took care of all the paperwork, registering us with the AKC before we even left the house. Sophie is very smart, alert, inquisitive and was so quiet and well behaved on the return flights, that no one even knew we had a puppy with us until we landed and disembarked. She passed her first “official physical” with flying colors and her first fecal test came back with no sign of intestinal parasites at all. My daughter and I couldn’t be happier at this point. I was not looking for a dog to compete in a show ring, but one that can be trained as a working dog for water rescue and be a safe, fun dog around my grandkids, cats and other dogs. I realize that things can happen that can’t be predicted but I am confident that Lynn Kay Kennels is as reputable a breeder as can be found for what I am looking for and I would happily recommend them to anyone.

We have a Newfie named George we got from this breeder and he is 11 years old. Best dog I ever had. We had another Newfie before George (named Newman ?), and George drooled much less than our first Newfie. Such a good old boy. I remember we also had him delivered to our area in South Jersey for an additional fee, so worth it. Thank you for our Big Boy
