“Dort Transmission is the only place I'll take my vehicles for internal trans work. The owner is a nice guy and is great to do business with. He's been in the business for a very long time and is excellent at his trade. Let's face it, trans work is typically expensive but it's necessary, so if you want someone to look at your vehicle without having to worry about the place taking advantage of the criticality of transmission function, then this is your place to go, no question.”
“I was referred by the auto parts store down the road. When I arrived I informed the person behind the counter that I needed a tire repair and that it was leaking badly enough that I could hear it leaking. With just a nod for acknowledgement she said "tell {not sure who she said} we need a tire repair". She informed me someone would be out shortly. About 15 minutes later an older gentleman appeared outside putting a tire on another vehicle. Once he had successfully put their tire on he came over and proceeded to fight with getting my tire off. It had gone completely flat while we waited for him and he had a hard time jacking up my minivan. It wound up requiring 2 jacks before he could actually get my tire off because my van was sitting so low. I honestly hope they're paying him more than minimum wage.”
