I live locally and went to this gas station often. The rest of the staff and even owner of the gas station are usually kind. However,Today , May 25th 2023 betweem the time of 5:00pm and 5;15pn.I went to buy some beverages and noticed my card said "decline" in card scan machine. I left the line to check and the cashier, an overweight short stature african american woman(forgive my description as I do not want her to be confused with anyone else that works there) screams" YOU POPPIN PILLS?! "When I left the line to check my account. Of course, I wasn't but was unable to make a purchase due to the bank card error. She then proceeds to yell at the top of her lungs to a store full of people saying " Y'ALL NEED TO CHECK YO BANK ACCOUNT!!!". Granted my card wasn't declined due to insufficiant funds but it was embarassing and I was highly disappointed in her words and actions. The rest of the staff there is fine but if I can help it, I will never go back there again as long as she works there. Her lack of respect for others is reason alone for her recieve displinary actions if not termination. If she said this to a local,who has been in this community for over thirty years and from a family that comtributes to this community for over 75 years, I can only imagine the things she has said to others.I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS STORE AS LONG AS SHE WORKS THERE!!! It was truly shameful and cruel for her to say those things. I am embarrased she works this close to my community.

Just because you’re in a predominantly black neighborhood, doesn’t mean that you should completely throw good customer service out the window. I have been here several times in the last few weeks and their night crew is consistently impatient, rude, dismissive and unpleasant. Especially the really big older lady. They are only kind to those who they know from the neighborhood and treat others like they are bothering them. Sistas need to learn to treat Tyrone with just as much respect as they would Chad. If I find out corporate’s information, I will be filing a lengthy complaint. Never doing business here again. Even the day shift is shady. Y’all used to have better people when I lived here a couple of years ago. It has gotten terrible. This place gives marathon a bad name.

The staff is friendly but super slow, high prices. Dirty. Says masks required but no one wears them and the staff says nothing about it. Parking lot is always packed with people hanging out blasting music, seen multiple drug deals and had people offer me illegal substances for sale. Cops seem to turn a blind eye.. just ghetto.

This gas station/liquor store is your one stop shop always has the best gas prices in the area and very up to date with all of their products always finding the newest vapes/products here that no one else has seems to be under new management and cleaned house owners are very good people whom care for the community always can ask to speak to them if there are any issues or problems very happy to see the things this business has been doing not only to improve themselves but the community around them.

I needed a battery for my mini van. I was able to drive right in. They checked the type battery I needed. They were out of stock but took my number and said they would call me when it was in. They called me and I was able to go in and get it taken care of. Good price. I asked if they could replace cabin and engine filters and they did. Prices were reasonable. They took care of everything promptly and I was on my way. The only negative I have is they donttake a check and thats all I had. Fortunately I had my hubby's credit card.
