Had my transmission rebuilt by a different shop and it was a absolute nightmare. On the shops 4th attempt i gave up and decided to go somewhere else. Came to lakeside and he agreed to fix my transmission. He did a few tweaks to it that the other shop did not do and now it drives like a new truck again. Cant recommend a shop more then this one and i will be bring my cars here for now on. The owners are great and will get you right. Thanks again guys. You saved me big time on this one!

Went over my transmission situation with Ed over the phone concerning my 2017 Jeep Patriot. He was able to use my VIN# to identify the transmission model- CVT. BTW, stay away from CVT.
So ED went over my options including cost to replace. When I replied that the cost is more than I am willing to bear, he even gave me a yard that he recommended. Also, had good advice for using it as trade-in.
Very helpful... and selflessly gave of his time. For that I am thankful and sharing five big ones !!!!!

My family and i were getting ready to head to West Virginia. I had rumbling noise thought it might be transmission so I stopped in to see if they could look at. The owner was nice enough to take a few minutes out of his time and diagnose it for me. Luckily it was only the wheel hub assembly that needed replacement. I told him I could replace it I'm pretty handy and had my own tools. Him and his employee were so nice they let me use their jack and jack stands they even ordered the part for me and had part delivered. I highly recommend them for their services they do quality work.

Don't even bother to call you won't be able to get in. I have been trying for a year now and keep getting same excuse when I call trying to set up an apointment. Go somewhere else.
Update; Funny how I get a phone call from them after this review. I called multiple times throughout the year trying to get in since it was a spare car that is not used. Every time they said they only book a couple of weeks out and they were all booked up, call back next week.
Deal with them if you want but they resort to putting other people's personal information online trying to get them to remove their review. Sound like a law suite waiting to happen.

Jaque and Ed took great care of my truck. I called and Jaque got me in right away, drove it, and diagnosed it quickly. Even though the repair was expensive, it was in great hands here. Ed kept me updated along the way and Jaque made sure the repairs would be top notch to tow our camper. They both pride themselves on their work and honesty. 35+years of experience and almost 5 stars in customer reviews, you can't go wrong bringing your vehicle here.

Highly recommended ! My 2016 Silverado suddenly started shifting weird so after some online research I went to the shop where Jaque spent time showing me in-shop examples of the all too common problems and fixes with my truck . Barely made it through test ride which included Jaque's plug-in scanner showing what was going wrong inside my trans as we drove. It's Christmas,these guys have a garage full of work and more waiting outside but they still took mine in and did a great job . Went back for a free check-up afterwords and they will be doing future fluid changes. Glad I found them,thanks Jaque and Ed .

I've gotten two transmissions rebuilt by Lakeside. Both jobs were quick and the service was fantastic. Please, for the love of God, don't go to a dealership. If you need transmission work, go here. They're fair, friendly, and knowledgeable. You won't pay unnecessary costs and it'll be done correctly. Highly recommend.
