Had Patty do our taxes she has apparently left and took all service and customer appreciation with her, called twice to make an appointment and was treated with attitude, lack of response, arrogance, best to go anywhere else.

My wife and I had our taxes done by Jerry. During the initial appointment Jerry was informative and friendly. The pleasantries was short-lived. After Jerry filed our taxes and gave us our departing paperwork and what our return would be, Jerry called me a few days later stating that he required another document. I informed Jerry that I never had the required document that he was asking for and that the government was insisting that they received. I then informed Jerry that I never had that specific need for that form nor did my wife. I asked Jerry what the next step would be and he gave me advice which I followed with no success. I called Jerry back telling him that there is no record of ever having a need for that form. With no further action on Jerry's side I ended up receiving money from the government which I believed was from taxes, " that was my fault". I contacted Jerry about a month or so ago again inquiring because I went to a different tax preparer who stated that I never had a 2021 tax file returned. I spoke with Jerry yesterday who stated the filing is not his responsibility and I was required to get him all appropriate paperwork needed. I informed Jerry again that I never had a need for that specific form Jerry became very short with me over talking me as I was trying to speak with him and telling me that it was my responsibility to make sure that all this was handed to him. I stated to Jerry again that we had this conversation multiple times and he never gave me any further advice other than telling me I need that form even though I stated numerous times nobody from the IRS to my insurance knew of any reason for this form. I then asked Jerry for a refund from last year's taxes with him becoming very hostile and aggressive raising his voice cutting me off and saying that he will not give refunds, does not do refunds for anybody, honored his agreement and filed and prepared my taxes as according to law and then out of nowhere told me to take him to court and he will explain to the judge and show the receipt fro decline tax acceptance form from the irs. Jerry stated it was my responsibility to make sure that everything was given to him in a timely manner. Jerry snapped again stating take him to court and he will show that it is my fault. I told Jerry he is very unprofessional inconsiderate and he did not do the job as he was supposed to during our communication of multiple conversations regarding these files. With how quickly Jerry threw out taking him to court, leads me to believe that this has happened many times before due to the communication being nonexistent on Jerry's behalf. I will never recommend anyone to Jerry and I am sorry that I ever step foot in his office.

I’ve been going to Havey for over 20 years. I had my mother and daughter going to them also. My mother Gail wrote an amazing review (see below) for Lois. She thought the world of her. She was an amazing woman.I was super disappointed this last time with Jerry. After promising he’d get me information if I could wait until May after tax season. When I called back in May he was rude, told me he wouldn’t help me and very dismissive. In fact I’m still waiting for his call back that he promised me… Things have definitely changed. ?

Recently stopped by to inquiry of foreign back taxes and found out about the filling regulations regarding that. Nice office space decorations and mgmt. Thought about the schooling I had in this and my personal experiences asking to pass that class difficulties. Inquired of externship possibilities. Now know a little bit more of that profession. Since their fees are more resonable I will probably file with them. Would recommend you stop in and inquire for you to file with them also. He also has been outside the country so has intl outlook.
