The type of vet that will not diagnosed ur pet and happily take ur money like they owe u something..
Charge u 80$ for a prescription u can get on chewy for 15$ ?
Then when u ask them to write u a prescription to fill at the pharmacy they send u to the check out desk with it still on ur bill
Ti's quite crazy to think their 5 minutes of not even diagnosing the dog is worth 400$..
Don't forget the misc up charges of stuff ur animal doesn't even need..
Highly recommend not going their out local last resort when we can't get.into anyone credible and it's nothing new the behavior has been going on for some years now ..

5-Star Review for Groesbeck Animal Hospital
I can’t say enough good things about Groesbeck Animal Hospital. My first experience with them was when I had to make the heartbreaking decision to put my cat down. The staff was incredibly compassionate during such a difficult time. More recently, I had an emergency with my dog, Betsy, who had an abscess that ruptured on a Saturday at 4pm, right before they were about to close. Even though they could have turned us away, they stayed open to help us, which was such a relief.
The doctor was amazing— they quickly shaved the area, examined it, and reassured me that this was fairly common. They prescribed antibiotics and scheduled a follow-up for two weeks later. The best part? The total cost was only $119.00! They could have easily charged much more, but they were honest and fair, which is rare to find.
Groesbeck Animal Hospital has gained a loyal customer for life. Betsy and I thank you all for your kindness, professionalism, and incredible care!

Brought my cat here to have a bump removed from his skin on back. The Dr. never called to give an update or showed any compassion for my animal. My cat ended having seizures and a grade 4 heart murmur that these Dr.’s never diagnosed or helped with. I ended up at Blue Pearl, then went to Cardiologist. My dogs were patients at Groesbeck as well and they suddenly refused to fill their medication. This clinic is horrible and their staff have no compassion for your animals either. I don’t usually give bad reviews, but I’m lucky my animals are still alive after going to this place!

We absolutely love Dr K and the staff is always so polite and very helpful.. we have 3 pitties, our babies.. Dr takes time with your visit we don't ever feel rushed when we see him. Be patient at times they are very busy. I'd also say it's always clean, reasonable prices... We are very pleased and we highly recommend taking your pet...we are very pleased with staff & Dr. K is the best.....

If your pet should become ill in between paychecks, well, they don't care. Even if you are a well-known client, medication will not be dispensed without payment in full. They will not give you any consideration no matter how sick your pet is. They will not wait two days for your check to hit your account. Who would patronize a Veterinarians office that has NO LOVE OR SYMPATHY FOR a SICK ANIMAL????? HEARTLESS AND CRUEL. Not to mention, the place is a filthy rat hole.

So unbelievably unprofessional! My mom’s dog got hit by a car, we took her here to see if she had any injuries. The x-ray cost $450, X-ray comes back with no broken bones and the dog was in shock. Then they decided to look again… this time it was a broken pelvis and her liver pushed into her intestines. Now we owe $3200 for surgery (that they won’t preform until 3 days after the accident)!! A nurse then offers to take her off our hands if we sign her over. We declined and suddenly she started YELLING then the other staff joined in. We leave out of the office (because of the hostile environment) and they LOCKED the doors and call the COPS!! WHY?? I explained to the police that they have our dog! And they want $3200! The cop talked with them and calmed the situation down. But OMG PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE IN AN EMERGENCY! They are HEARTLESS, RUDE and will ROB YOU!!

I had been here previously and thankfully received very compassionate, end-of-life care for one of my senior cats.
Today, I took another cat in for treatment. This was our first appointment with Dr. Dragan Gunj. Immediately noted was his innate compassion for my cat, his thorough pre-treatment questions, and his attentiveness to my answers. He was very professional, gracious, and friendly.
All my concerns were addressed, and my mind put at ease. I left today feeling confident in the course of treatment that was given, and very pleased to have found such a caring, phenomenal veterinarian so close to home! Many thanks. ☺️

The receptionist was very rude the last three times I've called her I've asked just please talk to the vet while the vets not available la la la to call you I'm in going there for 15 years. I guess that's not enough money for them
