200 North Ave, Mt Clemens“Wow, hands down, best dollar general. It was clean, super organized, super pleasant and nice staff. This should be an example of what a Dollar General should be. It made me want to shop instead of just running in and grabbing what I need and running back out.”
9AM - 8PM
33650 Gratiot Ave, Clinton“It was an ok experience, smaller than I thought. Didn't care for the put a 25 in the slot to get a shopping cart. No bags was another no go for me. The prices were about the same as Sam's or Costco, likes that the Kombucha was cheaper. Wasn't as impressed as I read I should be on a FB POST. VERY CLEAN , NOT ALOT OF STAFF. I WNT B SWITCHING from Sam's Club but would shop there if I was in a hurry and needed a smaller portion of something .”
“This place has the most unique finds of any store in the area. I am downstate in Roseville visiting with my daughter and grandchildren from Alpena which is at the very northeastern tip of the lower peninsula of Michigan. It's hard to get a lot of things up there. I have lived here all my life and recently moved to Alpena 2 years ago. I have a beautiful friend who has a ZOTZ fetish. I couldn't find them at first but the very knowledgeable cashier who probably owns the business too told me exactly were they we're at without even leaving the register. He knows where everything has had in that store and that is huge❣️”
“Aldi is pretty great all around and this particular location is my favorite one.
Lucky me, I have agoraphobia, anxiety and sensory processing issues. Grocery shopping is an ordeal that I have to psych myself up for. Aldi is uniquely awesome because the choices are limited. I don’t have to waste my time wondering which brand is best or doing price comparisons.
Their produce is decent; some things better than others. The organic baby spinach and French cut green beans are my favorites and they’re consistently good. They have a nice selection of quality meat, cheese and eggs.
The painfully bright, obnoxious lighting in stores always sets me on edge, but Aldi isn’t bad at all. It’s somehow less harsh than the average grocery store and they never play music over the P.A.
I love, love, love that they installed self-checkout stations. It’s my policy to avoid human interactions whenever possible, but on the occasion that I do require assistance the employees here are always very friendly and helpful.
Their plastic bag policy rocks my world. Bring your own reusable bags, collect empty boxes while you shop or pay for bags at checkout. Yes! Why doesn’t everyone do this? If people saw plastic bags as having monetary value, a lot of environmental issues would become far more manageable.
The concept of paying a refundable quarter for a cart is also brilliant. It means the parking lot is never littered with strays that will roll into your car and dent it. It means money is saved because they don’t need an extra employee to go outside and wrangle them. And that means you’ll find organic free-range chicken eggs for at least $2 less here than at Meijer or Kroger.”
“Excellent customer service. Just don’t go to the one on Jefferson in Detroit. They are always out of something. It’s ghetto customer service and many vagabonds come in that smell.”
10AM - 7PM
701 George Ave, Harrison“Love shopping at the base! My only concern is the dates of the expiration dates! The cost of the food is cheaper than Meijer, Kroger, and city stores. However, the expiration dates on cheese, bacon, and beef sometimes not followed! I go to the commissary once every 2 months. When I go, I spend approximately $600 when I go! To me, the commissary can't be beat! For people who are not veterans or service members, they are not aware of the savings. Trust me, the prices can't be beat!”
8AM - 8PM
27900 Harper Ave, St Clair Shores“Love shopping here. Fruits and vegetables are very fresh, and they have a great meat counter with excellent prices! Have a big selection of deli meats as well. Can usually find anything I need. Customer service is great, very friendly staff.. always smiling!”
“Nice and clean Market with decent quality food prices and good customer service.I have only been here a few times since I have been working in the area. But this is my mom's favorite grocery store for bargains and discounts and she says she has been going here for years. So yes this is also one of my new go-to stores.Keep up the good work Value Fresh Market.☝️?✨️✨️✨️✨️✨️”
9AM - 8PM
18867 E 9 Mile Rd, Eastpointe“The fresh fruit and vegetable prices were more reasonable then any where else, and was good quality food, I also bought hamburger there for my stuffed cabbage I was cooking, the meat was fresh and tasted delicious in my stuffed cabbage”
“Over the top .meat counter people were a great help.but no people in the veggies or bread areas.no people in just about anyplace. I was not a in and out shopper. I was there for over two hours as it was my first time there .things looked nice about 90 0/0 of stock was up and out. Just no one to help with my questions.in short for me a bit over the top.kind of like a cupcake with a lot of frosting and little cupcake.”
“I like GFS when you're looking for restaurant quality Steph especially frozen meals or something in that nature larger for bigger families or for people that like to eat more. When I worked in restaurants when I was younger we were from GFS. So I just kind of got in the habit to always go there and get used to the quality food that comes from there. I'll make a lot of homemade pizzas personally I get a lot of stuff from there pepperonis or cheese or what have you real easy.”
9AM - 10:30PM

The store also has a great selection of food all delicious foods to choose!!!Their foods are delicious takeouts plus!!!!AsEveryone enjoy Bunzo's it really is the place to go for everything you could want !!!”
“Great small local grocery store offering fresh produce, great names in the deli (like Boar's Head and Kowalski), delicious grab and go options (salads, dips, grape leaves, rotisserie chicken!) Don't sleep on the meat section: while it is a smaller than a traditional grocer, what they offer is excellent quality (ribs, steaks, sirloins, kabobs, fresh Italian sausage, ground meats, even a meatloaf mix!) Folks there are super kind, attentive and helpful!!”
“Clean store and friendly service. Very knowledgeable about their products. If they do not have it, they will try to get it for you. Best prices and largest selection I have seen in Metro Detroit area.I go there once at least every few weeks. I find myself going there more then grocery store for things I in bulk. They have way more then just chocolateand candy. I also buy spices, baking goods, snacks, tea, noodles & their mixed nuts selection is on point. ?”
“I worked here for a little over 6 months. It really is a great and fun work environment. If I asked for help I definitely got help with something I was working on. It was just time for me to move forward but I will be visiting and coming here whenever i am craving these wonderful spinach and feta pies.!!”
“This is my favorite place. I love the spinach and feta pastry a warning to all those who enter thru the door don’t come here hungry you will get yourself in some trouble. Good trouble.?”
“I love shopping here . They have everything I need, and if I require anything specific , Ron the owner will always get it for me . Great customer service & friendly staff . Lucky to have a store like this near my home .”
“If you need some liquor in chesterfield this is the place, under new ownership and they did a good job with it. A much better selection of liquors and the owner is super friendly. The entire inside changed and they are open later during the week as blue dog closes early. Great inventory of liquors and beers, and if doesn't have it he will order it for you.”
“Great gas prices, self service. They are upgrading it, soon to open which should reduce congestion at the station and Costco parking lot. Should be a big improvement.”
“I love the food at this kitchen! I've visited many times and tried everything from the Iraqi bread to the chicken shawarma and the whole chicken with rice. Everything is delicious!”
9AM - 8PM
41500 Hayes Rd, Clinton“I went into to buy indoor plants, and came out with some great finds and prices in favorite foods. Pot Stickers, Mac & Cheese, plus an old Aldi favorite, Tamato Pesto. Everything I bought was considerably lower than the price at my regular supermarket. I was lucky enough to have help walking into the store and lucky enough for their only electric cart. If not, I couldn't have shopped Aldi. That's the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5.”
“Great produce! The meat counter is fully stocked, and they even have boars head meats. The counter person was very friendly and recommended we try the chili. It was the best I have ever had.”
“Love coming here for fresh thick cut bacon. Friendly Meat counter service 10lbs. Ground Round Hamburger for $39.90 awesome price and great quality. Call ahead meats freshly butchered.”
“Great Prices & Great Products ! I shop Aldis 1st, the hit Meijer or Kroger for misc stuff not available @ Aldis. I also love self check out lines. I never wait like at other grocery stores.”
“Best store I have ever been to! Amazing produce, amazing desserts, amazing staff and the list goes on! The prices are really nice too, definitely beats going to Nino's when it comes to prices”
9AM - 8PM
14257 Hall Rd, Shelby“All of the Aldi employees are hard workers, but I wanted to give a shout out to the young man who was working today 5-13-24 around 1 pm. He went above and beyond with his service. He was so efficient, polite & friendly while he was multitasking at the register & working with merchandise.”
6AM - 12AM

I could not believe it!!!!!!! They were so accommodating to me!!!!!! It was like being at home all over again!!!!! I loved it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will tell everyone I see about the friendliness they showed to me while I was there. It was GREAT!!!!!! THEY HAVE NOT CHANGED!!!! IN FACT, THEY GOT NICER AND I DID NOT BELIEVE THIS WAS POSSIBLE, BUT, IF I HAD NOT WITNESSED IT, I WOULD HAVE SWORN THEY WERE TELLING A FIB. BUT, THEY AREN'T!!!! THEY WERE SO SO SO NICE TO ME !!!! I COULD NOT BELIEVE IT. I AM SO VERY HAPPY!!!!!!! I REMEMBER NOW, THE TIME I CAME INTO MEIJER'S. I WAS THERE A TOTAL OF TWO TIMES AND I WILL BE GOING BACK!! THANK YOU!!!!”
“Always a great place to visit to purchase produce. They have large, fresh and very reasonably priced vegetables. While produce is priced well, most other products are quite costly. Quality is very good, but expensive. They do offer a wide variety of products, meat, fish, dairy, bakery, deli, wines, etc. They have freshly prepared meals, too. All and all, it is a good place to visit, but expect to pay higher prices for everything with the exception of produce.”
“Since moving out to Chesterfield a little over 3 years ago we quit buying frozen meat and go to Tony’s and get all our meat. We haven’t had anything that was bad. Tony’s Special sausage with the onions and peppers to his steaks, chicken and pork chops are all good. Just stopped by today for Ribeye to make Philly steak subs tonight.”
“One of the best party stores in the area. Always fully stocked from what I can tell. Take EBT, which is awesome. Have a decent selection of quick frozen foods. Lotsssss of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to choose from. Kind of won’t go anywhere else when I’m in the area if I can help it”
