The mead was great!! $12 for a 22-oz bottle. Wish they came in smaller sizes but it was easy to sip on just one vs having to order 2 or 3 $12-$15 cocktails over a cpl hour span. The decor of the place was a step out of the 1960s, in dire need of being remodeled and decorated to feel inviting. Lacks a lot in terms of a desirable destination, more of a local hangout for people who seem who overlook that? Felt more like someone's converted garage.I would, however, get mead to go if I ever go back. The mead was very enjoyable, my hangup was the dated and messy surroundings.

“Good mead, but what a creepy owner. Offensive in a non charming, insulting and confrontational way. Do yourself a favor and grab some mead to go.”

Hidden gem of both libations and people. Excellent concoctions, shuffle board fun on Wednesdays, euchre on Thursdays, pretzel art everyday, and all with warm comraderie. You will also find brewing supplies, herbs and spices, teas, coffee, and the occasional dog (not for sale). Tap room is actually open more than most people realize, but the endearing laissez-faire attitude of the ownership is, in fact, rather bardic.

Ok seeing Im a Serious and passionate Mead Guy and Ive been to 43 Meaderys around the World and States along with the fact that I also make 13 Meads, Braggots and melomels myself for the past 24 yrs based on my Family recipes from my grandfather‘s who were from Norway and northumbria in the 1600-1700’s Ill be straight with you. I was sad to find out that Bardics isnt a true Meadery its an American Poser Meadery using added flavorings in their Meads. That being said any Old Time Norwegian, Swede or Dane would walk out of here and never look back but I can appreciate the American effort. None of these Meads are True Meads or Melomels theyre more like kool-aid honey drinks but thats what you get when people dont know what true Meads are so I give them a B for effort. That being said I still enjoyed this place . The cocktails/meads tasted nice and fresh and I can appreciate alcohol no matter what it’s form. I did buy 2 bottles because i want to use them as mixers with Smirnoff vanilla vodka. I enjoyed the time I spent here. The decor is cheesy I felt like I was in a 2nd grade class room but thats me, maybe you’ll like it. I was here on Aug 6th 2022 and the Owner didnt know it was National Mead Day so In My opinion this place doesn’t take their mead serious enough. I wont go back but it was a good once in a life time stop. “Skol!” If you like follow my travels on instagram at mylifemyterms55
