Very nice place to get in. Friendly staff. Clean beach and waters. They also have a food truck in case you forgot to pack some snacks.
Restrooms: As always. It is an open public place. Make sure you go in before your children.
Picnic area: Spread all across the beach area

It's my favorite place to camp, I love being on the water. They do however need to put a few garbage cans on the beach. I pick up garbage every time we go.
Playground: Great playscape for kids
Restrooms: Clean well stocked restrooms
Dog-friendliness: Dog are allowed everywhere but on the beach
Picnic area: Lots of tables

Nice big park. Very busy. Not really pet friendly. You can bring your dog but you can't go near the water or even on the sand with your dog. You have to stay out in the open field on the grass if you have a pet.
Restrooms: Nice restrooms.
Dog-friendliness: You can bring your dog but you ha e to sit out in the field in the sun. They aren't allowed near the water or on the sand at all. Not even allowed to take them down the beach where there's no one swimming
Picnic area: A few shelter houses but they were all reserved for family picnics

As far as the beach, the bathrooms are in much better shape this year. There are flags to let you know how the water is. There was a food truck on site. The park attendants are friendly.
Playground: The playground was big and lots of fun for the kids.
Restrooms: The restrooms were clean and in good repair.

7/21/24 - The park was nice as usual. But the women's bathroom was horrible. Had a strong urine smell, all the stalls were dirty... it needed a strong powerwash, heavy on the disinfectant. I've never seen/ smelled the bathroom there this bad.
Old review - Always a good time. Sit and relax by the beach. The park is clean, and we always go at a time when it isn't too crowded. The restrooms could be kept cleaner, and it seems like they were cleaner last year.

Good for family outing, there are several trails for hiking and biking, park includes campgrounds and access to beach and boat docks. Park is well maintained and there are clean bathrooms. This is a 4 rating as the cost for entry is 11 dollars, if you are planning to visit multiple times then get the annual pass.
