‼️Serious Announcement ‼️If you have a prescription that the label has started to fade or has completely disappeared due to the ink not staying on the prescription label PLEASE contact your pharmacy and make them aware ASAP. They can verify your medication and print a new label.I cannot stress the IMPORTANCE of someone being able to read their prescription labels. #1 You need to know the name of the medication. #2 You need to be able to read directions on how to safely take your medication.If you have a loved one, friend or neighbor, please reach out and ask if there are any problems with their prescription labels, such as, it’s fading or completely faded away. If they say yes, please assist them (if they are unable to do it themselves) in having their medication verified and a new labels printed at the pharmacy they came from. This also notifies the pharmacy of a SERIOUS problem.In my experience a lot of people (especially the elderly) just don’t know what to do and may stop a medication for fear of taking it incorrectly or just take it without knowing what the medication is or the directions on how to take it. This is not because they don’t know better in a lot of cases but due to lack of transportation to pharmacy and/or not wanting to bother anyone to ask for help.‼️ Being able to take your medication safely is PRIORITY‼️#needtodobetter

I recently switched from Walgreens to Walmart Pharmacy. When I got my script filled, the pharmacy tech told me the pharmacist wanted to speak with me personally. The Pharmacist told me my medication doesn't always work right away, he said don't get discouraged it takes time to alleviate symptoms he said if I don't start feeling better to contact my Dr and don't hesitate to call or come back in to talk with him. I have never had a pharmacist that takes time to pull me aside and reasure me that everything will be alright and not to get discouraged if it doesn't work. It's rare these days to get a pharmacist who cares enough to make time to talk with a patient personally.

Normally I hate dealing with pharmacies but I had the best experience today. I have been arguing with my doctors office all week trying to get a refill. After having nothing but problems I went to pick up my other medication that had been filled. My doctors office tried to say it was the pharmacies problem they sent it over but knowing my doctors office I knew they were just trying to put it on someone else. I could also see on the walmart app it was not there. I had casually brought the problem up to Madeline who was waiting on me and had told her I was going to be out and how the doctors office said it was their fault. Madeline was extremely helpful she called around pharmacies and found that my docs office had sent a refill in Sept. to the wrong pharmacy. Being it was the same med and dose she had them transfer that refill and filled it on the spot. I can not thank her enough she was so worried about me not having my medication she went way above and beyond. I use to fill prescriptions for a couple doctors I worked for and all the docs office had to do was check a box it was literally no more than 5 keys and it could have been done. She had to do double the work they would have had to do. I love when ppl know how to do their jobs and actually care she didn't have to call anyone. She could have just said call your doctor. She cared more then my own doctor. I cannot tell her thank you enough. I will always fill all my prescriptions there even though it is far from my home (I only go there because it is by my docs office). But what a great experience specially when so many ppl now want to do the bare minimum. Thank you so much Madeline.

Only walmart in Monroe. I would advice any tourist staying in Monroe to stock up on items here, not many options available in this town. They have grocery section as well. One of the only Walmart's I've seen with recycling machines. They also have a one minute key machine. I personally like checking their clearance section. It's next to the Michigan pride items.

Always very clean, well stocked, and employees are helpful and friendly. Even when the lines seem endlessly long, you can hear management calling for anyone trained on their registers, to come up and open up a lane- including management themselves
