Meijer Pharmacy in Monroe, MI, allows customers to fill family prescriptions where they shop. It offers free select prescribed antibiotics and prenatal vitamins, plus flu shots, immunizations, health screenings, prescribed pet meds, and drug takeback kiosks, with no appointment necessary. Reviews note the staff is very nice, professional, and helpful. The drive-thru is praised for being convenient, often with a wait of less than ten minutes, saving a trip into the store. Many customers report saving hundreds on medications compared to other pharmacies and have experienced no problems with prescriptions being filled accurately and quickly. The service is described as good overall, with some stating they do not plan on changing pharmacies. However, some criticisms mention that the pharmacists can be rude. A significant complaint involves the removal of a dedicated pharmacy app, forcing customers to use an outdated and inconvenient webpage for refills, which has led to frustration and consideration of transferring prescriptions elsewhere.
Drive thru is always extremely slow. When I ask why it took forever they always say they was a problem with the persons insurance. I feel in cases like that they should be asked to come into the store & all the cars behind that person should not have to wait in line up to 1/2 an hr at times. Things need to change
