Worst butcher ever! Lots of fat and other "waste" in our meats. Lots of inconsistencies in pkg sizes for same cuts. These people are just too LAZY to cut, trim and package meat properly. Ridiculous!

Outstanding service. Our meat was all vacuum packed and clearly tagged with its contents. We tried another processor in the general area and they were nowhere near the quality of Weltin. We will be using them going forward.

Great place, rather it be buying one item of beef, chicken or pork item to placing an order for whole or half beef, pork.Cashier was very polite, as well as knowledgeable. Can't believe the awesomeprices on their meats. Will definitely be making another trip. All in all best Meat Packaging Shop ever.Again I will be returning again.

From Dan: It's a matter of them losing sight of what is good meat, you got a roast that was over 35%(ish) fat.. not something I'm going to put out for display. Either they don't care, or are ignorant of standards.. that's it the meat was good it was cut in the wrong manner. They cut the sirloin roast with three grains when it should have had two and left the silver skin on one side of it. The fat was not trimmed off the edges either. The round steak I cooked tonight had a lg long bone in it along with about 30% fat and a lg piece of hard grizzle/cartilage about the size of a folded dollar bill. I contacted the farm where I purchased the meat and they said Weltins has never received a complaint to tget. I said no one probably had never had a butcher over for dinner. Will NEVER use them again!!

Got half a cow processed here. They did a great job. All the meat was well packaged and labelled. The staff was very friendly. They even helped me load the meat into my coolers. Great experience.

Stopped in on a Saturday to get some steaks to grill that night. All they had was frozen. Ribs steaks were about $10 - $12 each and strip steaks or slightly less. This seemed a little high to me, especially for frozen steaks. On the other hand it was very very clean and the lady behind the register was friendly and knowledgeable.
