Rushed in traffic to get there by 6PM closing time and they weren’t even open. The 6 was actually scraped off the door where the times were posted. Typical post office. Never enough time to make it in with their ridiculous hours. What a joke.

After two separate bad experiences at the Milford post office, I’m done. Today, their “systems were down” so the attendant could not print off my label via a QR code. Rather than offering to print it via email, she told me to go to the local library and print it off, come back, and then she’d ship. After explaining to the attendant that she needs a better solution, another worker was able to print it off for me, no problem. Waste of time.
My second experience was arriving promptly at 9 AM, then having to wait 20 minutes at the counter for the attendant who decided to show up late that day. Many other customers left out of frustration.

This is the worst post office. There have been several times I have needed to sign for a package. At the attempted delivery I have not been home to sign. They never leave an attempt notice therefore I have no idea my package was being tried to be delivered until I have to actually track my package from the shipper. Stop being lazy Milford MI. post office and leave the notice in the mailbox or on the door. This is on top of not always getting my regular mail or getting my neighbors mail or getting mail for someone that lives nowhere close to me.

I hate the nickel and dime approach. I took in a return package but didn't adhere the return label because I didn't know if the post office preferred the label to be waterproof. The desk clerk refused to use the tape in front of her to stick the label and insisted I pay $4 for a roll of tape. So much for me trying to help. I'm sure this is post office policy and not the fault of the clerk.

I am posting so the Post Office knows, not because I am upset. The location may be ground level but is not handicap accessible. On crutches or a wheelchair there isn't a button to open the doors.Considering it is a federal building, I am a bit surprised. I am temporarily on crutches or I would never have noticed. I could not open either of the doors.

Mail receptacles outside the post office are taped closed with a sign that says "out of order". It's been at least 3 days. What's out of order? The door? On both of them?

Comically bad. Tracking info made up. Carriers say you weren’t home when they never knocked. I laugh when its not something important.

I went to the post office today and the line had about five people in front of me. Standing in line, I couldn’t help but notice how the guy was so polite and patient with every person, he worked quickly. He must have been told to have people fill out the survey from the post office because he asked each person to do so, and circled it on the receipt, which I did as well as this review. I feel when people do a good job they need to be recognized.

Milford post office constantly misplaces our mail in the wrong mailbox. This also happens to many of our neighbors as well. It’s been an ongoing issue for quite some time. I understand a casual misplaced letter or package, but this happens so often it’s actually normal. I wonder how people can still have a job after making the same mistakes over and over again? $19 an hour plus great benefits but can’t place people’s mail in the correct mailbox. It’s to the point we’re reluctant to order anything because we don’t know if we’ll receive it. Outgoing mail has had some issues too. Come on, Milford Post Office.

Our postal driver has bent our packages and placed them in the mailbox even when the mail states DO NOT BEND. Previously, we spoke with management at the postal office and left the bent packaging with him. He stated he would talk with the driver but also said that she was a long-time employee. The next day, we received this same package on our porch with a question mark. Clearly, our issue was taken seriously. We called the post office and talked to the same manager again. They stated that we should have the seller pay for more insurance on packaging next time. We asked for this to not happen again and never requested reimbursement. Insurance shouldn't be the answer to employee negligence. Now fast forward to today. We receive another bent package thrown on our porch. We really don't want issues with the post office, but this has become a pattern.

I really enjoy the young lady and the young man that I go to the most. They are approachable and take the time to acknowledge the customers in front of them and are not put out by questions.

Tried calling, waited for 40 minutes on the phone then the mail man showed up at my door while the hold music was still playing and took care of my issues in person.
