Be very careful when dealing with this furniture store, especially with one of the Principals, J___y. I went to discuss a serious problem with a custom order of a swivel recliner and sofa. The leather deteriorated in the headrest area only on the recliner. Also, the sofa's color was not consistent with the fabric sample when the sofa arrived. In both cases, the response was abrupt, unprofessional, and generally openly hostile....'they would do NOTHLING to make any kind of adjustment'. Further, "I don't care what you say about me or my store, I don't care". Wow! So, please be careful when you buy something that you hope will last.

One star is being generous. I would never buy anything from huron valley furniture, again. Spend your money elsewhere.We have been trying to resolve some amish factory defects with furniture purchased purchased in may 2022 and delivered januray 2023 without any sucess.Today I was told by the owner, Judy, to take her to small claims and let's see what the judge says. That's real customer service.FYI - amish does not mean quality. They make mistakes too

I needed a large table so working with the sales lady, I ordered a 54"x54" table with three leaves making it 54"x90". It was set in a smaller room not fully extended. Once I remodel my kitchen, I had room for the large table I needed so I added the leaves to the table making it the full length needed. Then I noticed it that the table was very wobbly. I went back to the store to find out what can be done and noticed that the bases on the tables were much larger than the one I have. My base is 24"x24" definitely not large enough to handle the weight of the large tabletop. How was I to know this was a mistake when ordering? I am not a furniture expert, the sales people are. The owner said that I waited too long and there is nothing she can do about it. Tables will wobble a bit with the leaves in. The wobble on my table is extreme but she didn't care. I know it has been a five years and was willing to pay for a new base but she insisted that she cannot order just a base. I explained that it is a liability issue and she went off about me suing her. I never said that; just trying to explain the severity of the issue. If anyone was to get hurt, both the store and I would be liable. The other reviews indicate that it would not have mattered if I brought the issue to her at the time of delivery, she would not have done anything about it. Never again will I shop in that store! I spent a lot of money for "quality" furniture and now I have to find a solution to the unmatched table/base.

We recently moved to the area, and found this store by sheer luck. We ended picking up a couple of end tables that was EXACTLY what we were looking for! We will be back to order some chairs and table for our dining/kitchen area.

I'm just dumbfounded. I have had nothing but grief over the sectional I ordered from this store. It started out fine. The salesman was very kind and helpful. Their furniture is stunning and of good quality. That is where it ends. Hence the one star. Getting the items delivered took time which I understood given the supply issues in 2021 and early 2022. Yes it took nearly a year to even get it. When it was finally delivered it was damaged. They said they would get their repair service out to fix it. It took weeks! No one called me. I finally had to bug the store. That didn't work. I got the number for the repair service and they came a couple of days later. Unbelievable. The technician said he had to order a replacement part and it could take a few weeks. Okay. That was in August/September. It's January and nothing. I contacted the repair service. She said she would look into it. She must've called the furniture store because the furniture store calls and leaves a message saying they need to know what piece needs the part so they can order it. My mouth dropped. I have never dealt with such incompetence before. It's a shame the management can't get its act together. It could really be a nice store all it needs is good customer service; people who do what they say, communicate with the customer, and deal with problems in a timely manner. Customer service is the store's epic downfall. It's sad really.

My experience was good until I needed the sectional I bought repaired.The sectional was delivered damaged 2 months ago. After multiple calls to get it fixed nothing has been done. I stupidly paid for the sectional in full before getting it fixed. FYI, if you receive damaged furniture don’t pay for it until it’s fixed. Now I have to fight with them to get this done. I won’t buy from them again. It’s a shame because they have high quality beautiful furniture, hence the reason for any stars at all.

Awful experience.Ordered a couch in November. They said estimated time of delivery was early February. Then it changed to mid February, to Early April, to mid April, now to mid May. 5 months have gone by and they have not reached out to us once. We have had reach out to them when ever it passed their ETA.Love shopping local but would not recommend this place.

We have had an incredibly difficult time working with this business on a warranty for a product we purchased. Judy is incredibly difficult to work with and rude when trying to problem solve. Customer service is awful. We have been trying to get a resolution for months on this and cannot get emails or calls back. While we hoped to support a small business by buying here, we will never purchase from here again. Take caution before purchasing from this business!

Horrible experience.I gave a 1120 deposit for a table. I was told it would be 8-10 weeksto be made. I started calling for an updates after 10 weeks. finally after 15 weeks they told me the order was never placed. There were no apologies, just a simple. "Do you want your money back". After I said yes, Judy, the owner, took my bank details over the phone. I did not get the funds in my account after two days. When I asked if she could confirm the transfer was done, she yelled at me and hung up on me. So now I have no table and no deposit. The service from beginning to end was well past frustrating. I am really hoping I get my money so this does not drag into a legal issue. NO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY

WHAT A NIGHTMARE!!!!!! I would NEVER EVER buy anything there again. Our table was ordered wrong. It was too small to push the chairs under. When I told the owner she refused to take it back or exchange it. She said the chairs are meant to sit in front of the legs. She called yelling and screaming at us multiple times. Her customer service skills are awful! Swearing at us and rude comments every time she called. Our response was always calmly saying " Just take it back and reorder it correctly or refund our money." After 3 months we filed a dispute with our credit card company, she refused to talk to them too. The credit card company withdraw our payment to get her to make it right. The owner filed a case in small claims court to get her payment and WE WON! We bought the same table from Treasures Forever. They buy Amish made furniture from the same Amish family as Huron Valley Furniture. They built us the same table correctly for a better price.
