I have been with Schultz Bottled Gas for 30 years. They have always been courteous and prompt on filling our propane tank, even in very bad weather. When I damaged my gas line with my mower they fixed it right away. I highly recommend them to anyone needing a propane supplier.

When we purchased our home we inherited Schultz propane. They were fine at first, but found better rates elsewhere so we eventually switched. We have not been customers of theirs since early Fall 2014. When I called to inform them we were switching companies they said they'd send someone out to get their tank. It's May 2015 and they have yet to pick it up. Called again today and received the runaround from customer service as to why they haven't been out yet. The tank is sitting at the end of our driveway and has been for months killing our grass. She stated it will be several more weeks before they pick up the tank. Horrible customer service. There are better options available for your propane needs. I would not recommend them.

By far the worst company I've ever had to deal with. No online system. People on the telephone bully you, call you a liar, and continually speak over you while you are attempting to talk. Their "after hours" line promises they will leave a message for the office to call you back (failed to return my call three times). Speaking with these people makes my blood boil. I would highly recommend using another company (they are merging with Ameri-Gas in July 2015). I am thrilled that natural gas is coming to the area so I no long have to support these clowns.

Started out fine and then went through continual rate increases, did not tell us when the decided not to go on auto-fill so we ran out. I called and let them know that their lowest price is still 20cents per gallon higher then others who post their price and they will not budge. Now I have switched companies and now they refuse to return calls to come and pick up the tank.

I had their service for nearly two years and should have changed propane service providers when I bought my home. Poor customer service and excessive rate increase during this past winter. On average, they were .20 cents higher than their competitors. The owner, Virginia, is rude and their support staff is not much better.Recently, I changed propane providers and requested that they come pick up their tank. This was over a week a go! When I called to get a status update, I was told that their truck, the one that delivers and picks up tanks, is broke down and is going into the shop for repair. Given that, I was not provided with a time frame for pick up other than it will get picked up. Really? There is only one truck that drops off and picks up propane tanks? Also, they do not make special trips to pick up tanks and that when they are in the area, that is when it will get picked up. So for the foreseeable future, I will have a rusted propane tank on my property.

horrible not only was i ripped off once but twice. once on a home delivery and once on a fill off a small tank i was charged for 2 hundred gallons on the home delivery but I know I only got half of that because not even 3 weeks later i was out of propane. i had gotten 200 gallons from 3 other places and it has lasted way over 3 weeks and nothing has changed the furnace is set at 68 and never changes. i got a refill from 2 other places on my little tank and it last 5 days i get it refilled at Schultz and it only last 2 days. this is the only company i have had a problem with. i am very unhappy. i will never refer anyone to this company and i will never be a customer of this company again. I will also make sure I let others know of this in my small town of Milan that THIS PLACE IS A RIP OFF AND TO NOT GO THERE.

We have used Schultz Bottled Gas & Appliance for about 3 years. They have a certain date every winter, to which you can "Pre buy" propane, for a cheaper rate.I called and Pre bought $600.00/ $1.69 a gallon. When they came and filled my tank, they gave me a bill that said "Charge at 2.49 a gallon" on it. I called and spoke with Virginia (the owner) and I explained that I pre bought that propane in the beginning of December. She so rudely explained that she would not change the price back to $1.79 a gallon. (Her exact words) "That's the way that it is, and that's the way that it was going to stay!"I told her the reason that they had my credit card number was because I pre bought. So they charged my credit card for $2.49 a gallon. After this winter is over. They will be coming to get their tank. I may only be one customer, but I don't appreciate the way that I was treated.
