The entire summer of 2024 ALL of our songbirds disappeared, as did our neighbors. After searching online for "clean", locally sourced seed, I found I could purchase some that's harvested in Ohio but sold online at Nature Niche. We couldn't be more thrilled. The songbirds are slowly returning!!! We will only be purchasing from Nature Niche. No more chain store seeds, ever!

Oh, my goodness, Nature Niche is wonderful! My first purchase was a tall feeder pole, along with a raccoon-proof baffle, which works perfectly.
I was astounded at the care taken in packing something as simple as a bird feeder pole and baffle. The baffle was carefully wrapped in recyclable white paper, and nestled in the box. The pole was very nicely made by Evra, and also well-packed with white paper, so the black finish was in perfect condition. Even better, both items were made in the USA! GO AMERICA!
My second order was of another identical pole and baffle, along with two cylinder feeders and several seed cylinders. Again, the packaging was amazing. There wasn't so much as a single seed knocked off the cylinders.
The prices are very good, the selections are excellent, and shipping was quite quick. I wish I was closer so I could visit their brick and mortar, but as long as I can ship online, they are my new go-to store for bird feeding items.

I can't say enough good things about Martha and her staff at Nature's Niche. There are so many beautiful gifts besides a wide selection of bird feeders and food. It's refreshing to go to a business that has such a deep knowledge of their offerings and a vast selection of products. I find it valuable to pick up seed, a card, and a gift in one stop.

I’m fortunate to have recently encountered Nature Niche online. I purchased a bird house, pole system, and several attachments. All items were of excellent quality, promptly shipped, and carefully packaged. The detailed product descriptions and tips were helpful too. As a novice, Martha’s expert advice to several of my questions gave me confidence in what I was buying. And lo and behold, we recently welcomed a pair of bluebirds to our backyard! I highly recommend this superb outfit and will certainly return myself. Thank you!

What a wonderful shop to discover online! I was looking at information for seed cylinders and found the site for Nature Niche. I decided to place an order for the seed cylinders along with several other interesting items found at their shop. Everything was sent in perfect condition and very fast. I wish I lived nearer to visit the shop in person, but it is wonderful to know that you can shop online and receive great products at fair prices. I hope this store remains available to us for a long time to come. Well done!

I discovered Nature Niche online this summer when shopping for birdseed. I live in New Hampshire and recently retired and moved to a rural home with a great deal of bird activity. The cylinder seed I've purchased has been a great hit! I'm originally from Flint and travel back to Michigan to see relatives between Alpena, Port Sanilac, Howell, Lapeer and Grand Blanc. When I make another return trip I'm going to try to make a stop at Nature Niche!

What a lovely little place! Husband and wife team run the shop. She’s a biologist/naturalist and he designs and cuts amazing steel signs and creations. She gave me some great advice on some native plants for their sale (happening now at the end of August) to bring more early pollinators to my yard and veggie garden. They should not be a best kept secret! If you love gardening and birding, please visit. Also, lots of local art for sale.

While the slinky didn't work on our problem squirrel, It may have worked on the others. I only saw our problem one on feeder. The seller was quick to address the problem. She contacted the manufacturer for further info, which didn't work with our "wily squirrel". But she immediately refunded my payment once we saw it wouldn't work for our problem squirrel.

Don't waste your time buying from this business. They advertise products on google that are not true to the description. I spoke with Jody to return it and she continued to talk over me and refused to refund the item. I even offered to split the cost but she refused. Don't trust this business!

Delightful nature shop with great selection of bird feeders, seed, and gifts. The owner Martha is very knowledgeable and helpful and we enjoyed talking with her about our feeders and birds. We bought her special Martha’s mix seed and will be back for more.
