Very, very helpful - I wanted information on getting a new lamp to attach to a music stand, and told them exactly what was desired, and they help by telling me that while they had good lamps, they had sold the last one they had of what I was looking for and referred me to the internet, even giving me the number and brand I wanted - and where I could get a good price. They were right on the spot, and I am so grateful for their unselfish helpfulness. The lamp works out great!

After getting one pulled over on me at electric hitch of Bay City, Camp's Music Center was completely honest with me. They did not just do the job and charge me for it like Electric Hitch of Bay City did. They explained the problem to me, and then on top of it guided me towards someone that could help me. Internet markets will never replace atmosphere, personality, and exceptional customer service, which you'll find at Camp's Music Center. I'll be the first to tell you, if they don't have it, they'll do everything in their power to order it for you. It's a shame how the internet has taken the magic of a local music store out of so many peoples lives. Every time I've entered the front door, I've left with a smile on my face, and a baggie full of goodies! Midland is extremely lucky to have Camp's!

Unprofessional. I had taken a recently purchased instrument in to have it re-strung. I wanted to try to stay local. I took it in on the 9th or 10th of January; I was told it would be a few days. I did say that I didn't need the item until Valentine's Day as it was a gift. I never heard from them. I tried to call on the Monday before Valentine's Day, no answer. I then made a special trip into town to see if I could get it. They were open, but had taken the instrument home and the lady was certain that her husband would be unwilling to make a special trip to bring it to the shop. REALLY? They did not have my permission, nor did they say they would be taking it home. It had been a month and it wasn't ready. The next couple of days, we had really bad weather and travel was ill-advised. So the gift I was giving was late. I would not ever take anything there.
