1801 Central Park Dr, Okemos“I had paid $5.00 to play pickle ball from noon to 3pm. I told them I had to leave at 12:50 for a doc appointment but would be back in an hour. I wanted to know if I was going to be charged again when I can back an hour later. I was surprised by the hesitation the staff had at letting me back in at 1:50. After all I. Had paid for service until 3:00. They let me back in at 1:50 without payment . They told me next time I would have to pay. I had paid for service from noon to 3:00 but because I left for a doc appointment it canceled the remaining time I had paid for. I would not be allowed back in with out a 2nd payment next time Does this sound like an intelligent staff? I don't think so. To be fair I am a failed bus driver so maybe I don't get it. After all the customer is never right. And it was 500 cents that was the issue. I will say I really like the pickle ball players. Staff seems a bit dimwitted. Feel free to call me and tell me what you think. 989-948-0393 ask for Craig.”
“I was new to working out again when I started at M 43 in Lansing about a year ago. I was so relieved to find out that the people there never judged me and were super nice and helpful. I was able to get a little workout in when I wanted to-in a clean, safe, and encouraging environment. It was great. I wish I could stay but I'm moving so I can only wish them the best. 10/10. Thank you all at M 43!!!”
“I typically haven't added reviews online but ELCF definitely deserves one! All the coaches here are amazing and have really helped me get more fit. They always focus on doing the right movement and modifying the WOD (Work out of the day) as per your body/physical abilities. I started with the on boarding program and it really helped me understand the different movements and it also taught me about how I can scale an exercise to work my way up the ladder of fitness. Not to mention, all the folks in class are always kind and generous; making me want to show up every day and give it my best.”
“I love Orange Theory! It is a challenging workout and it is amazing what you can accomplish in an hour. For those of you that hate doing the same thing each day, you will never get bored here. The coaches are friendly and knowledgeable as is the rest of the staff. If you are looking for a great community and physical gains, look no further!”
“Best gym I’ve ever been part of! The community of people are amazing and the coaches really care about your progress. For the first time ever working out is actually fun and doesn’t feel like a chore. I’ll be at High Five Fitness for life!”

16820 Chandler Rd suite 109, East Lansing“I had a membership here for a year, and it is an amazing club to workout in. I would have renewed had I not moved around a lot. I would visit other clubs, and they are not up to par with this one. If you will consistently be in the area, this is the best option for you. Very clean, great equipment, not very crowded.”

3544 Meridian Crossing Dr Suite 100, Okemos“I've been really pleased with this gym since I switched about a month ago from our local Planet Fitness. Eagle Fit is great - super clean with a no outside shoes rule that I love. Not overly busy, even at the after work rush. Has two squat racks and multiple benches and all the machines and cardio machines you may want. The location is safe and convenient, and you can use your membership at either of the other two mid Michigan locations.”
“Jeffrey Howard is a passionate and knowledgeable coach that brings enthusiasm and positivity to each workout. I always feel comfortable even though I have no prior experience with CrossFit. This gym and coaches are unbeatable, they work hard to create a long lasting community that is supportive in or out of the gym. Cannot recommend enough!”

1982 W Grand River Ave, Okemos“Although the entire staff has always been really good, I need to give extra props to Jared Wyzywany. Since my first day here, Jared has always been courteous, helpful, nice and willing to do everything in his power to make my experience wonderful.”
“Terrific gym. For whatever reason, by whatever means, they've cultivated an excellent atmosphere. Almost everyone in the gym is about twenty years younger than me, yet they are, almost to a person, polite and respectful, while also being hard-working and intense. The entire gym membership are composed of people who are serious about their workouts, yet kind enough to always ask if I'm using something or to allow me to work in with them. The gym is also very clean, an amazing feat given that it is 24 hours and the equipment is definitely the best in the area.”
“I began personal training with Kaitlin to learn how to lift weights with proper form. I was also hoping I would be able to become more fit to improve how fast and far I could run. I am glad I decided to begin personal training sessions as Kaitlin is a wonderful personal trainer! Kaitlin created a nice plan that would work for me as she taught me the basics first and then worked in more advanced exercises as each week went by. As a beginner, I felt no judgement from Kaitlin or anyone else at Court One.One aspect I really appreciated was that Kaitlin consistently asked and discussed the pace at which we worked. There are a lot of muscle groups you can work and multiple exercises for each. Kaitlin often discussed with me whether I would like my next session to be about learning new exercises or working on exercises previously discussed to ensure proper form. It was nice to work at a speed I was comfortable with without feeling any kind of pressure.Kaitlin put in a lot of effort to ensure I felt like a valued client. Kaitlin was always prepared to teach me new exercises to work out a new muscle group or to help add variety to my workouts. I also appreciated that Kaitlin knew not every exercise is for everyone. Therefore, we did not continue with an exercise if there was an exercise I did not like for whatever reason. One of the nicest actions Kaitlin did for me was create a monthly workout plan. Kaitlin provided input and let me decide if I wanted to spend my workouts working on a particular muscle group (e.g. arm day or leg day), conducting a full body workout working all muscle groups, or developing a hybrid schedule. Based on my decision, Kaitlin developed a monthly plan for me detailing what exercises and how many sets and reps to perform each time I planned on being at the gym. This helped me stay on a schedule where I was not working out too much or too little. Kaitlin made clear to me that this monthly plan was flexible and she would work with me anytime to develop a plan that worked well for me.Kaitlin is very knowledgeable about everything related to working out. Kaitlin was able to provide me with information about my diet including how much protein I should be eating and what foods I can eat to obtain more protein. For example, Kaitlin provided recommendations on what brands of protein bars I could purchase so I could find the brand I liked. Kaitlin also provided me with numerous tips about stretching. Working out can lead to some aches and pains of a particular muscle group and Kaitlin provided me with several stretching exercises for each muscle group that may help alleviate these aches and pains.Court One has a machine that will capture your weight and determine how much of your weight is attributable to muscle mass for various parts of your body (e.g. right arm, left arm, right leg, left leg, chest). This was a useful tool Kaitlin had access to that would allow you to track your progress to determine if you are gaining muscle and inform you if you are gaining muscle proportionally on each side of your body. Based on these results, you can adjust your workout plan accordingly. One of my favorite parts of working with Kaitlin was her encouragement. It was so nice to have someone make positive comments about noticing how much hard work you are putting into exercising and the improvements they notice over time.I am very happy Kaitlin is my personal trainer as Kaitlin provided me with all the tools I needed to begin working out and reaching my personal goals. If you are committed to putting in the work, Kaitlin will help you achieve your goals. Performing too much cardio can make building muscle difficult. However, I was able to achieve my personal goals of both. Over the course of half a year, I was able to gain a couple pounds of muscle, beat my personal best 5k time by over 2 minutes, and comfortably run an additional 2 miles. I would highly recommend Kaitlin as a personal trainer to anyone!”
“The preschool here is amazing. It is run like a school, not a daycare. The teachers are great and care a lot about the kids. They focus on getting the kids outside as much as the weather allows them to. My child has grown so much at the preschool and also at swimming lessons. The prices are also very affordable for both preschool and swimming lessons. I highly recommend the programs here!”

804 E Shaw Ln, East Lansing“I feel more comfortable to work out here because even though it's not as big as IM Sport West, the equipment and the facilities are just fit to what I need.the refill water tastes MUCH BETTER than IM west (im west water tastes like iron particle water).there is no water pool here. but you can find a basketball field indoors and outdoors, squash field rooms, aerobic room, and indoor running track.the only inconvenient thing is when you visit this place and the in charge receptionist is the rude short blondy guy.”
“Anytime Fitness is awesome. Very personal and supportive of people inside and outside of the gym. If you don't like that then you'll be fine, too. Just be honest with what you want and expect and AF will help. I've been doing the small group training classes and they have been great for me with recovery.”

900 Long Blvd, Lansing“The staff here is the friendliest of the Lansing branches. The (women’s) locker area is clean. The showers are the hottest with the most pressure of the branches as well. I appreciate the big windows in the pool and spa area, as well as the wide side lanes for pool workouts. There is always upbeat music in the pool area too, which is a nice plus. Shout out to Rosa’s excellent Thursday night aerobics and my fellow classmates!”
“Tried spin for my first time at yoga State and loved it. The class size was small, and the lesson was for beginners like myself, as well as people who are more advanced. I will definitely go back!”
