GREAT experience! Fast and educational service by Colin and the entire team. We were safe in our car while our tires were being replaced. Our kids LOVED watching the fun staff members work. Colin was impressively efficient and educational about our tires. We will be back!

Free tire inspection, rotation, and repair if you buy your original tires from them (any location). We’ve had some great help from snapped rims, flat tires, driven through construction zones, etc. They’ve always been honest and explain it in terms that a non-car savvy person can understand.

I've been using Discount Tire for all my vehicles since the day I bought my 1998 F150 brand new. That's 26 years! My truck has had 3 sets of new wheels and tires over the years. I currently have 3 vehicles all having tires purchased from Discount Tire. I've always had good experiences at many locations over the years.
That changed today at this location when I sent my wife to get a nail removed and plugged in the center of one of the tires of our 2010 Chevy Express van. The tires are less than 3 years old.
My wife was told the inside of all the tires were worn smooth and not serviceable (not repairable) and that she would need to buy new tires. I talked to Adam, the assistant manager on the phone, and he said the rear tires were worn smooth on the inside and needed to be replaced. I explained that the tires were rotated recently because they were wearing more on the inside when they were on the front of the van. But I didn't think they were needing to be replaced yet since they were no longer wearing since being rotated to the back of the van. He offered some pro-rated roadside discount on new tires for the back that would still cost us over $300. But he refused to repair the tire.
My wife took it to Bell Tire down the street and they repaired the tire.
See picture and judge for yourself if the tread on the inside of the tire we needed fixed was worn smooth. I think not!
Adam lost a long-time customer today at this location.

Hardworking people. Not cheap, but a good value. They do good service in a challnging task. There is a but of negotiaing and price matching do-able keep in mind. Got best continentals w 70k mile warranty and including full service their whole life 17" for 850.(700+150 abouts Another advantage for people who travel a lot is that their branches are widespread. So the service really does mean something. SOMETIMES the wait times are longer and you may have to make an appointment leave a CAR ALL DAY to get bgi things done. But free air and quick checks are done free all the time. This is a good community service too.

My wife’s Lexus tire light turned on. This morning I took it to Discount tire in Okemos. All the staff were very nice and professional. They discovered that the valve was faulty They replaced the valve for free and I was in and out in less than half an hour. Absolutely a great service. I highly recommend this shop for any tire service.

The guy at desk was nice but they wouldn’t patch a small hole that I plugged in the middle of tire. Always some reason why they won’t plug or patch a tire. Took to bell tire, no question and patched in 5 min. Thanks for nothing as usual discount!!

Started my morning going to the Lansing Discount Tire, in dire need of tires and wheels. Ended up here.
Fantastic and knowledgeable people They got me in and out (I walked to McDonald's, grabbed lunch and was still finishing my soda and my car was ready to go) were polite and really, really helped me out.
All around fantastic experience with Discount Tire.
