Gave these guys a call and from that point on, it was easy.
The owner immediately saw the situation, dropped everything and had his crew get me back on my way in no time.
These are the kind of people you want to work with.

ALL PROSPECTIVE BUYERS/CLIENTS BEWARE! Purchased a vehicle from Mc Bain Auto Sales. Chad was incredibly rude and the behavior of this individual was abhorrent from the start. Looking back, very seedy and shadowy type of transaction. The vehicle/truck purchased is so adversely altered in so many ways that hinder it from being a safe vehicle to be sold or driven. The majority of vehicles seem to be procured from out of state. Hmmm. There is NO possible way that this vehicle was even checked out by his "mechanics" as he had indicated! If so, please provide a verification of such to the customer. Chad indicated that "it was good to go down the road". I strongly advise that a mechanic of your choice inspect the vehicle you are considering before purchasing! Save yourself the headaches! Issues: All Federally regulated emissions equipment is either missing/ deleted, the computer has been re- tuned to run a program that is unknown and continues to cause additional drivability and safety issues and will incur approximately $15,000+ to get the issues rectified to start! The 'mechanics" could not see this, the owner did not disclose it? Appears to be a significant legal issue prospectively! To list all issues would take many additional lines. How a dealer can sell a vehicle in this particular condition is a LARA issue with the State of Michigan. I encourage anyone with similar issues to pursue a formal complaint. This review is the sole opinion of the Client/purchaser and in no way shall be construed as a recommendation to/or not to engage in a business transaction with the aforementioned business.

Haven't even had this truck 7 months and we have had to replace wheel bearing, radiator, back brakes and now the head gaskest might be out. Has not been drove enough for all of this to happen and we have routined oil changes. Not impressed very scammy, and aug.30. now the truck has no heat, right before winter. Things keep going out in this truck and we've barley owned it 8 months

Chad was so helpful! He was kind, and didn't treat me stupid because I'm a girl, (which has happened at multiple other mechanics.) He was able to get my car done the very next day. He was super understanding, and treated me like a friend. Will definitely be going back for all of my vehicle needs.
