From the moment I stepped into Patterson Veterinary Hospital, the staff greeted me and my fur baby with genuine smiles and attentiveness that spoke volumes of their dedication to animal care. The hospital itself is a marvel of cleanliness and organization, with a comforting atmosphere that seems to whisper reassurances to both pets and their owners. It's clear that every detail, from the serene waiting area to the state-of-the-art examination rooms, has been thoughtfully designed to provide a stress-free experience. What truly sets Patterson Veterinary Hospital apart, however, is the unparalleled expertise and compassion of their team. The vets are not only highly skilled and knowledgeable in the latest medical advancements but also possess a remarkable bedside manner. They treat each pet as if it were their own, taking the time to listen, explain, and reassure. The support staff deserves high praise for their kindness and efficiency. From the front desk to the nursing team, everyone we encountered was incredibly supportive and patient, making the entire process seamless and stress-free.Patterson Veterinary Hospital is more than just a medical facility; it's a sanctuary where pets and their owners can find solace and support. Their commitment to excellence, combined with a genuine love for animals, makes them a true gem in the community. For anyone seeking top-notch veterinary care infused with compassion and professionalism, Patterson Veterinary Hospital is, without a doubt, the go-to place. My heartfelt gratitude goes to the entire team for not just treating my fur baby but for also providing peace of mind and a truly remarkable experience.

Always treat our animals like family and with respect. Definitely are fair and gentle with frightened animals and give them time and space to make it a comfortable visit. Also they have the cutest boop noodles in the lobby.

If I could give them a negative review I would. My sweet dog had two large masses on left side of body. Was told over the years they were fatty tumor. In December was told based on palpitation they were soft tissue sarcoma and she would die in months. Surgery not promising is what they said. Requested fine needle aspirate December 11. Patterson sat on results for one week. Finally, December 18 the receptionist read me the report over the phone. Yes, I learned my dog definitely had cancer from the receptionist! Dr. Jason told me he had asked the office manager to let me know results. Yes, the person in charge of scheduling and office supplies not a vet was originally instructed to tell me my dog had two 4" cancer tumors!MSU surgery consult said should have been removed years ago. Surgery at MSU was successful. MSU reached out to me several times throughout the process. Only needed to keep my dog 1 night. She is full of energy and doing fantastic!Since then have spoken with others who had horrible experiences. Evidently have a bad reputation among professional vets.

MSU surgery consult said should have been removed when they first appeared and were small. Surgery at MSU was successful. MSU reached out to me several times throughout the process. Even followed up on Christmas evening! Only needed to keep my dog 1 night. She is full of energy and doing fantastic! She goes upstairs again with absolutely no issues! Since then have spoken with others who had horrible experiences. Evidently have a well known bad reputation among professional vets. One told me she had worked there a while back and thought they had finally got their act together.

I’d give them a zero if I could I was extremely disappointed in their lack of professionalism handling my pup who I brought in for a physical and shots. They didn’t interact or introduce themselves to my pup to form some sort of a positive bond leaving it at a nervous environment not once was an attempt made to improve this. The vet openly admitted that he showed no signs of aggression. After muzzling him they then proceeded to rapid fire a whole bunch of what they thought we should do and not actually explaining or going into anything they mentioned which comes across to me a money grab scheme, insulting, and demeaning to me as a person leaving me with a very sour taste in my mouth. When my pup came back from blood work WITHOUT the muzzle he came in trotting and happy and they then remarked that with more training and some more visits that he MIGHT NOT need to wear the muzzle that they were INSISTENT on. I’d also like to add in that they were rushed and sloppy when giving him his shots they lost track of what they had given him and what they still needed to give him. A veterinarian shouldn’t have a practice if they do not know what there doing, rushing, sloppy, or have the ability to introduce themselves to a pup and build relationship with them

Brought in our cat T.J. for an examination of sore spot on his lower chest. It could have been an infection from an animal fight, a tumor, or cancer. Offered immediate surgery without saying what it is. I agreed to cell biopsy first.Offered rabies and feline leukemia vaccinations 3 times. I said "no" each time because I wanted to get the biopsy results before spending money on vaccinations on a cat that doesn't survive. Dark, I know, but practical. Then, I asked for pricing for the vaccinations to be able to plan for vaccinations when appropriate, i.e. after we know T.J. is going to survive. Instead, I got pricing for today ($198.49) and approved it. Then T.J. was taken back for cell biopsy. When T.J. and the Tech returned, I asked again for vaccination pricing. Tech said they just gave him rabies(!) (but not feline leukemia) with the biopsy! The Tech said I approved the price she gave me (for today's exam), which was true. She had given me the price without disclosing it included the rabies vaccination. She had added in the rabies without disclosing it even though I had said no 3 times. Feline leukemia was not included. Who decided to not include the feline leukemia? Who decided to vaccinate for rabies and only rabies when both vaccinations were due? The Tech unilaterally made both these decisions and did not disclose her decisions until after it was too late. The price for the 3-year rabies was $31.05. Hopefully, T.J. lives 3 more weeks let alone 3 more years!

Appreciate Dr Jason at Pattersons. Soo helpful giving me advice and providing treatment to my precious animals. He even did a follow up call after hours on an ailing dog.

I took my dog in today to get put to sleep. They took us into a room that was so cold my feet were freezin! The staff member even said it was cold, and said there's usually a heater and one was not provided The staff was great, very helpful but I did not like the doctor that euthanize my dog. She chuckled about the weight loss of my dog. I will never go back there ever again with that said I went with them for many years but since Patterson left this clinic it has changed dramatically. Shame on you guys seems like they care more about the money than they do about your pet. I love my Daisey girl like my own child and I feel very bad that I took her there. I will never forget this day!

Best vet I've ever been to. They tell it to you straight and take all the time you need to answer questions and make sure you're satisfied with your pets care.

Great people right up until we put our boy down. Swear to God I wrapped him in a blanket after.... spent a few minutes.... then some lady came in and awkwardly unwrapped and flailed his corpse out of the room like she was carrying a drink tray one-handed... half smirking the whole time, like haha hey whoops. GTFOH. Would love a do over on that moment.Everybody else was great.

I made an appt for my cat to get her teeth cleaned and I had to take her for an evaluation first which should only cost $40 but their policy is you have to prepay $50 and you don’t get a refund, any extra money just sits in your account until you use it. Then I went in for the evaluation and my cat never got out of the carrier because she told me the list of tests and shots that my cat would need before the could clean/extract any teeth would be $400! That could have been explained over the phone and saved me time and gas and 50!!Follow up: I did get my deposit back and it was explained to me their policy is to refund any amount not used, OR you can leave in your account for future appointments.
