“Friendly & Honest Folk, the Owner is a hard worker and his small town People always enjoy seeing the locals when they come in. They have a pot of hot coffee on and the old farmers come in to chew the fat while they stop in for a minute... :-)”

My friend Casey was interested in some coconut water, they did not have any, but Bri knowing her inventory was able to give fantastic suggestions on what else might work instead of coconut water. I can not suggest this place enough with how well stocked everything was and how amazing Bri was.Ps: Casey is a guy.”

If you don't walk out with a smile on your face ready to take on the world after chatting with any one of them, you have some serious issues. You can't help but be in a good mood after dealing with their great personalities.”

Whenever we are in Plainwell/Allegan, we stop at the Meijer Gas Station to fill up because it's always the cheapest in town! Also, they typically have a nice clean bathroom. Problem -- there is only 1 bathroom for ALL so if you have a family who needs to use a restroom, you might want to drive up to the store and then get gas after! The gas station always have a nice variety of snacks and drinks, and they usually have good sales on beverages and snacks as well. If you want to exchange your propane tank, they do offer that service as well if your propane tank for grilling is low.”

1515 S Patterson Rd, Wayland“Fill 'er Up and Prepare to Be Amused: A Review of "Bubba's Gas & Grub"Ah, gas stations. Those essential pit stops on the highway of life, where we refuel our chariots and possibly our snack cravings. But let's be honest, most gas stations are about as exciting as watching paint dry. Enter Bubba's Gas & Grub, a roadside oasis that defies all expectations.First Impressions: Pulling into Bubba's is like entering a redneck comedy routine. The pumps are adorned with duct tape repairs and faded "Vote for Bubba" stickers. A giant inflatable dinosaur wearing a cowboy hat guards the entrance, while a rusty sign proclaims "Bubba's: Where the coffee is hot and the food ain't fancy, but it'll stick to your ribs."Pumping Up the Laughs: While filling my tank, I was treated to a symphony of honky-tonk music blaring from the speakers and the occasional squawk from the aforementioned inflatable dinosaur (apparently, it suffers from chronic indigestion). Inside, the store was a treasure trove of kitsch. Think porcelain Elvis figurines, taxidermied squirrels wearing tutus, and enough beef jerky to fuel a small army.Fuel for the Soul (and Stomach): Now, let's talk about the grub. Bubba's doesn't mess around. Their menu is a carnivore's dream, featuring gut-busting burgers piled high with greasy goodness, chili that could melt steel beams, and fried everything you could imagine. I opted for the "Bubba's Belly Buster" burger, a monstrosity of meat, cheese, and fried onions that could easily feed a family of four.Service with a Smile (and Maybe a Shotgun): Bubba himself, a burly man with a handlebar mustache and a twinkle in his eye, manned the register. He greeted me with a hearty "How y'all doin'?" and proceeded to regale me with tales of his hunting exploits while he rang up my purchase. I left feeling like I'd just made a new friend – or at least a really entertaining acquaintance. The Verdict: Bubba's Gas & Grub is not your average gas station. It's a roadside attraction, a comedy club, and a culinary adventure all rolled into one. It's not fancy, it's not for the faint of heart, but it's guaranteed to leave you with a smile (and possibly a stomachache). So next time you're cruising down the highway, skip the predictable chains and pull into Bubba's. You won't regret it.Rating: 5 out of 5 gas pumps (with bonus points for the inflatable dinosaur)”

2897 10th St, Bradley“We had to stop here due to a sudden emergency with our 1-year-old daughter. Then we went inside the store. The girl who works there was super nice. My daughter was crying before, but she felt happy to see her. It melted our hearts how she treated us (I believe she knew we had been struggling near her shop for the last 10 minutes with the little one). We will definitely try to stop by here again, just for the service. If it helps them, I will be happy to buy something. Also, mom and dad (or someone who raised the girl working there) of that girl, you guys did a great job”

I wished the vacuum worked well outside by the car wash- there isn't another place in Wayland to clean your vehicle out.”

I appreciate their deals and willingness to help with anything asked. Competitive pricing - I’m either here or at Wesco. Especially love the discounted fuel and thanks for keeping the yellow jackets at bay this year whoever removed the nests near the few pumps with them.”
“Today is July 2, 2023. I visited the Martin Marathon at about 4:00 pm, and was surprised when the polite clerk - who happened to be straightening up near the front - opened the door for me. He also called me "Ma'am," which was safe, appropriate and appreciated as I have completely white hair. There were few people in the store. I paid cash for my gas, then had to come back in for change. By that time, the clerk had a LONG line of customers, and I waited in the back. But the clerk motioned for me to come to the counter, he already had the change ready! I got my change and was out the door; the clerk didn't miss a beat, continuing on with the next customer in line. You've got a winner there, someone who is willing to go the extra mile. Do what you can to hang on to employees like that.”
