“**Update - 12/17/23 - Broke another axle, different one than last time and if I could give 10 stars I would. Google wouldn't let me create a new review. I called, showed up an hr later and Scott had me diagnosed in 1 min, pulled a truck out of a bay and had me in within 5 mins. Tech had the old axle out, cleaned the tube and new axle with seal back in. I think this took 10 mins and I was back in service in less time than you get an oil change. This type of customer service puts every business to shame.**original ReviewIt gets no better than this place. I broke an axle in a semi, called and talked to Scott the owner and he had me in like Nascar. Axles out, inspected, housing cleaned out and fluid drained/filled and back on the road in 30 mins. This kind of service is unheard of now a days and they gave me years of experienced knowledge by answering every dumb question I had. The tech who did the work was outstanding and diligent. The pricing is beyond fair.”

“I went to the Jenison store on 2/24/24.The 2 gentleman and lady working were VERY helpful! Check engine light came on in my son's car. They checked the light, and it was the canister purge valve.Checked ytube, and it was a part that looked like I could replace myself. Went back to them, and they had the part. I was able to replaced it. Then I took the terminals off the battery to reset the check engine light, and the hot wire broke off in my hand it was so corroded.I was trying to unscrew the negative cable, and the nut broke off as I was turning it fromthe corrosion. I went back to O'Reilly, and they actually had the exact lead I needed. They were also able to match up the exact bolt and screw that broke off.I was able to replace the cables. Kudos to all three!!”
“They didn't have what I had in mind (something for hanging a tennis ball or ball above your car in the garage to know where to park), but they made something that will work just the same (two fishing bobbers and some string) and cost a whole lot less.”

“My sister goes to GVSU and came back from Thanksgiving break at 5pm with a nail in her tire on Sunday. She goes to college almost 3 hours away from home, so we were worried she wouldn’t be able to find any help besides AAA on a Sunday night. Blain’s was open so I called and they fit her in, and even though they couldn’t repair the tire, they put on her spare for her! Within less than an hour she was mobile again until she can buy a new tire. The customer service was absolutely amazing, and they even put her old tire in the trunk for her. I definitely recommend this business for any auto needs!!”

Broke down and not only did an employee from this auto part store drive my husband more than 7 miles to the uhaul place where we rented a uhaul and tow dolly (brakes were not fixable), they let this old lady use the bathroom a couple times while waiting with the car and outr belongings. Super friendly people and went out of their way to make sure we weren't stranded or paying a ton of money for an Uber. They really take care of people in need of help. Too bad we don't live closer or we would be going to this place for all our auto part needs. We made it home safely to Romulus, MI, thank you so much for everything!”

“1/16/24 I had a dead battery that was corroded and frozen/fused to one of the terminals due to the weather. One of the workers, Austin, helped to pry it out for over an hour in the middle of a below 10° blizzard and help get my battery replaced. I cannot thank him and this location enough. He also didnt give up when it became clear it was gonna take a lot of work, and he seriously deserves a raise.”

“Excellent experience with company. Im battle creek and had recently got into a car accident in Grand rapids. My car first towed to pep boys on alpine Ave that stated they could not safely look at the vechile. I had difficulties gaining insurance information and pep boys tried to claim my vechile as abandoned. I forgot her name but the secretary knew of the trouble I had gaining the other persons insurance and was kind enough to let me tow my vehicle there. My van was declared totaled and I set up arrangements to have my vechile scrapped. The owner Gavin was kind enough to waive off the storage fees, even on his own birthday. I recommend this shop to anyone. To thank Gavin (I hope I spelled that correctly) I got him a piece of cheesecake for his birthday from Bestside bar and grill and wished him happy birthday. The entire staff was extreamly kind with a smile on their face and put the customer back into customer service. I also highly recommend Bestside bar and grill, best food I've ever had that is literally two doors down in the same suite.”
