I’d once given this BP 5-stars, my review is in here. Our only complaint before was that NO ONE says hello, goodbye, kiss it, nothing. We got fuel & stayed over last night (as Campbell farms & forestry does quite often)
But as of this morning we won’t be back if possible. Went in for a cup of ice before gassing up. Usually a cup of ice for truck drivers is under 1$ no matter what truck stop you pull into. NOT HERE.
The gentleman this morning charged almost 3$ FOR A CUP OF ICE! Not paying that! Then-here’s the kicker: after we fuel up & go back inside? The guy then says oh you coulda got a pop for free if you got fuel!!!I You got to be kidding me!!!
Btw- driving from the UP down through Michigan & out to California? We’ve never ever paid more than .75 cents for a damn cup of ice! Unbelievable….?

Wouldn't recommend working here at all. Toxic work environment, rotting nasty cupboards and worse. Oh don't forget you will get written up for being disrespectful when you didn't do anything wrong after someone slaps you on the arm and you get blame just because they're assistant. No wonder employees don't last. Then when someone there tries to drag me down because I finally left that place aam doing better for myself jealous people. Every job can get"stressful" but not like this place. Also you don't get a break unless you smoke cigarettes and can go out 15 times a day. Not allowed to sit down once during even a 9× shift. Food is overpriced, they also think it's okay to leave food out 14 hours a day , and still sell it. A quick visit from health department if they actually looked beneath the cupboards and the whole place would be shut down. Did my best, still got treated like a slave and like a useless employee. HA! they lost me as one of their better employees.!!
The rest of the Employees are lazy & don't do their jobs. Just put it on the good workers (which there isn't many at all)
Do I care if any of them see this... Nope!

If your ever thinking of having a career here think again My girlfriend got assaulted by the assistant manager she smacked her arm really hard and she had a bruise well the main manager comes back a writes up my girlfriend for insorbortnation and didn't do nothing to the asm because she said that's acceptable well I thought people would learn to keep there hands to them selves and still don't give the asm the right I learned it in kindergarten never touch anyone without there permission anyway they got a rotting cupboard over by the knives growing mold smells terrible most of employees are rude and also they had a rotting banana in break room to "collect flies" I think it produced more than collected I bought sour milk numerous times on accident from here 7 bucks a gallon btw oh and 10 bucks for a little thing of ice cream I wouldn't go shopping here if you don't have to its really expensive almost need to stop by the bank and grab a loan for candy bar here but 10 pm is when most things are open in this town I'd just go somewhere else also there management in general is joke the main manager only cares about her vacation that she takes every 2 weeks and the Asm is a control Freak both are compulsive liars very unprofessional and very greedy business

It's funny how 6 miles can make a big difference. The BP on the one side of town had a very nice middle aged women working who was attentive and understanding of what I needed, (I had to pump regular (87 Octane) into some gas cans for my snow blower, but I also needed to fill up my Range Rover (which takes 91/93 Octane), as well as several cans of diesel for my John Deere (Diesel) and I needed it on one bill. She turned the pump on for me and said to just put the nozzle back and take it out again, select "pay inside" and then select the higher Octane for my Land Rover, which made things easy, however that BP doesn't have diesel. So she let me know that the other BP (the other side of town) carries diesel, so I went there after and the younger women at the counter was to busy filling cigarettes (despite the Ding of the door when I entered) and I had to wait, and wait, until I finally said "excuse me, which pumps are diesel ⛽️? To which she finally replied the 2 closest to the building. Both BPs were very clean and well lite but there was definitely a customer service difference between the two. May that younger lady was having a bad day but still as someone that managed a major retail store for 7 years, I know that paying attention to your customers, even if it's just saying "hello" when they enter can make a huge difference.

Big easy parking lot and diesel pumps for trucks. As RVrs, we appreciate the easy access. Went inside to pay and get DEF. The people working there all had smiles and were very nice.

Mackinac Island Fudge, Jarred jams, doughnuts, mini pies, etc. There’s maybe 25-30 spots to park for overnight or for reset. Nice place! We’ll definitely be back, Good job guys:)
