Nothing but problems with this pharmacy. In what world would an antibiotic be something you don't need for 48 hrs that they order in instead of fill...or you can wait an hour for it to be filled. One of the root causes for admission with sepsis to the hospital. If you expect your meds the day your doc prescribes go somewhere; anywhere else.

I called in for my prescription and they said 15-20 minutes, then it’ll be done. I show up and they say they don’t have the prescription because it was filled somewhere else. So why didn’t I get a call to tell me it didn’t go through?. So then I’m told I have to call the pharmacy that it was filled at and have it transferred. So I told the lady at the desk that she has to call and she insisted that I had to call. So I call and that pharmacy said they are supposed to call but they would clear it this one time for me. So then I go back to the counter and she said give me 5 minutes and I’ll have it filled. I come back to find out they don’t even have it in stock.. all this run around for nothing. The lady at the pick up desk was not friendly. Then I got sent to the drop off desk to have them call a different pharmacy to see if they have what I need and the lady at this desk and she got rude with me for not knowing what the prescription is called when it’s a new prescription to me and a one time thing. Won’t be coming back to this Meijer again for prescriptions.

Ear drops for my painful swimmers ear was called in. Went to pick up after an hour to find they didn't have it. No call back to primary care physician to let me know. Lack of communication led me to Walgreens. I'm all done with meijer pharmacy!

Worst pharmacy I’ve ever dealt with. N considering I sat in line n watched this pharmacist belittle n definitely didn’t help this elderly couple in front of me I decided that’s it. I’m not spending my hard earned money in a place that treats elderly people so poorly I won’t even go there to buy groceries anymore.

Staff doesn’t communicate, talked to 3 different people for 15 minutes after waiting 20 minutes for them to supposedly fill the prescription. Told me they were waiting for my vet to get back to them but never called them. Had the audacity to question my “memory”about her birthdate when they had it typed in wrong. Wow. Bad customer service and very unprofessional, will not be getting any more of my money.

This pharmacy just notified my mom that a medication she uses was recalled - it is a steroid nasal spray fyi. When she asked about an alternative because she has to use it semi regularly the person and pharmacist said it would probably be fine to use and the company was likely shutting down. We thought it sounded a little weird so we googled the information on the bottle and as it turns out, there was broken glass in the lot that had been recalled- which was the lot my mom's bottle was from. They told my mom to use a nasal spray that was reported to possibly have BROKEN GLASS in it. BROKEN GLASS.

Extremely rude to my wife. We ate waiting for new insurance to take affect and because they didn't have a certain brand made my wife feel terrible because the price went from $40 to over $150. When she asked about the difference she was told get on Medicare or get insurance??? The pharmacy failed to mention that brand prescribed is on backorder. This is the last time we use meijer. It's just as easy to go to another pharmacy.

My wife called this pharmacy to inquire about refills on one of her prescriptions to have it transferred to ANOTHER MEIJER STORE today. After listening to a bunch of background noises and being placed on hold and waiting over 10 minutes, the Meijer representative finally returned to the call and verified the refills were available. Then the representative requests that my wife provided the fax number for the other Meijer store and can't transfer without it. Really? For another MEIJER STORE???? The representative then, in a rude tone, said she would look it up for her and abruptly ended the call.Wow, not what I have come to expect from Meijer.

So I am a veteran and all I have is VA medical. First time ever when I went to pick up my medicine which would have been $116 they looked up for a VA voucher entered my social security number and I was approved and my medicine costed me nothing. Great friendly people.
