Over the years, I hired local landscapers who never had the knowledge, crew, or ability to make my landscape better than the typical ones I used listed around Ann Arbor. Mike and his crew knocked out entire new scenic areas around our house. Mike McLennan and his team worked seamlessly with every type of machinery needed for the project. The designs fit our property perfectly, and now we have gorgeous scenery as if we have moved to a beautiful new park. Everyone was competent, knew the design, and got to work every day, even in 90 heat. Every day, at quitting time, the team cleaned up and was ready for the next day. We have a narrow driveway, the necessary machines were bigger, and some corner/edge ruts were necessary to get them in and out. The last thing McLennan and his crew did was fill, seed, straw, and straighten the tire ditches. No one I had ever hired took that kind of professionalism to that level. A 5-star review isn't nearly enough stars!

I received the best service from McLennan's. The young ladies that helped me go out of their way to find a Bush that I have been looking for for a while. Their prices were affordable and the flowers are very healthy! Thank you for your service

My 80 year old mother hired this company to perform a service. She was quoted a price in December 2023. After two phones calls, she was told by the owner that he forgot about it. Two gentleman came out in April 2024 and finally performed the work. My mother was not upset that it had taken so long, she was just glad it had been completed and was ready to pay her bill. When she received the invoice, it was for more than the original quote. We realize that quotes are normally only good for a certain amount of time, but they should only go up if the customer does not reach out to say they want the work done. In this case, she hired them to do the work, but THEY forgot about it, so the quote should never have gone up. The owner was incredibly rude when she called to ask why it had gone up and threated to come back and "undo/pick up the service they had completed" if she did not pay the new amount. We will never use this service again and will not recommend or speak highly of them to anyone. In reading other reviews, including on Yelp, it appears this company does not stick to their quotes, threatens customers, does more work that is not asked of them and then charges customers for it, and treats seniors very poorly.

McLennan is excellent. These guys have been there, done that, and have an incredible intuition for landscaping. They had all the right tools and people to help us re-grade our property, condition the soil, and help with fencing and planning on extensive acreage. We asked McLennan Landscape to give us an estimate on a dog fence- probably not their most favorite design project- and they delivered a very nice looking wood paneling mixed with cattle panel fencing right to our specifications. The work crew was friendly and tidy. I am very pleased and will be using McLennan's next time we tackle a yard project! Thanks especially to Wade, Kenny and Roy- all very patient with my questions.
