“Absolutely love it! I looked forever for a class for my son and we have been here two times and he cannot stop talking about it. The viewing area is great, it allows for me watch him while not being crowded with the other parents. The front desk has been super helpful and the instructor is patient with him since he struggles to focus at times. Their website is updated and what convinced me to sign on was that they have boy groups. It’s hard to find gymnastics places that also mention boys.”

“I had my wedding at The Rust Belt in December 2023 and I have nothing but amazing things to say. First of all Julie is the best! She is quick to respond to emails and was so accommodating and answered all my questions in a timely fashion. The wedding itself was amazing from the cocktail hour to the ceremony to the reception! The bar staff was great and the venue looked incredible. I would recommend The Rust Belt over and over again and I hope to attend a wedding here in the future so I can be a guest.”

The Phone Negroni is a bottle N/A cocktail that I've seen at other places, it is tasty, but you're missing out a bit on the cocktail-being-made-in-front-of-you experience. “Excellent home cooked food and excellent service. Very clean. We always enjoy seeing the exhibits that they have and the Polish American Sports Hall of Fame.Most days they close at 6:00. And you should definitely call ahead to ensure there's no special events which would close the dining room. They have late hours on Friday and Saturday but definitely call ahead”

“Wow! Staying at a hotel a couple of bocks away so we decided to try it here for dinner, and we were NOT disappointed! Marvin was great, and the food was absolutely delicious! Chicken parm was HUGE (took half to go) and was seasoned perfectly. Hubby had the gnocchi with sausage and said it was FABULOUS! We both added a salad to our meals, house salad for me and Caesar for him. Had the Arancini for an appetizer, and it was soooo good! Order a pomegranate blueberry mule, and you will thank me!Parking: There is a large paid lot right across the street that is really inexpensive (75 cents an hour)”

I am the cake designer for Grand Mid-East Pastry Delight in troy and many of our customers order cakes/sweet tables and such and book their party at Pennas. The establishment is very clean, organized, beautifully decorated, chic and modern. There is multiple ball rooms and can host a party of any size up to 700 people. Whether your having a small gathering of 20 or a wedding of 700, Pennas can service no problem. The customer service you recieve during booking is very professional, detail oriented and will do their best to keep costs low for your event and thoroughly go over all your options. As a vendor, they are so nice to work with. Again everything is clean and organized, workers are all kind and helpful. As a guest at a party here, it's a beautiful time. From marble flooring to gorgeous setting arrangements, awesome food, the bar is beautiful, the tables and chairs and furniture is very modern and pretty. “Went there for NYE with other couples.Great staff, very friendly and helpful.Appetizers were excellent and a wide variety to choose from. Steak was cooked properly, well seasoned and served hot. Carrots unfortunately was a hit and miss. Mostly uncooked, the ones that were tasted great. Red skin smashed potatoes were also really good.Place was clean and very well maintained. Plenty of parking and well lit.Only real issue was people being allowed to smoke in the vestibule which filled the hallway with smoke and you could smell it throughout the hall.Will definitely be back for another event.”
