I am not sure if a store has multiple managers, but whoever the lady that was running the store in the evening last night on June 22, 2024, is completely out of her mind. She was hostile immediately when interacted with, would not listen to reason, and just absolutely rude.
I was playing lottery scratch offs from the vending machine, I ended up losing around $300, and ran out of cash. I remembered I had a couple lottery ticket coupons on my michigan lottery app. I wanted the money from the coupons badly because I lost on a bunch of tickets in a row and wanted to buy the next one to hopefully make a comeback.
So I went to the clerk and asked if I could redeem the coupons over the phone, he would just have to scan my phone on the machine and a payout slip will pop out with whatever the amount the coupon was. In my case I had a $10 coupon and a $5 coupon. The clerk NEVER MENTIONED to me that the coupons must be printed out on paper.
The clerk instead asked me how it worked so I showed him by scanning my phone on their lottery machine, because where their machine is located, the scan tool is reachable to a customer. He then waits for me to scan the second one, then grabs the two slips and we walk over to the register so he can cash me out.
The manager lady is standing by him at this time and that's when he asks her how do you cash out a "coupon" on the register?
She immediately became hostile, she made it seem as if a crime had been committed.
This was her argument:
" you need to have the coupons printed out on a sheet of paper, so that we can staple the payout slip to it so we can keep track"
I said... ok the machine spits out a payout slip you can just use that to keep track it DOESNT NEED TO BE STAPLED to another piece of paper.
So then she kept repeating "no it has to be stapled it has to be stapled.
Then she looks at the clerk and threatens him by saying you may be fired over this?
I just became baffled, FIRED?? because we scanned a couple lottery coupons with my phone Instead of having them printed out on physical paper??
She was completely unreasonable.
The clerk became very nervous over this and immediately said "I didn't scan them, he did," pointing at me.
Which was true, I reached my phone to their scanner tool, because the clerk wanted me to show him how to do it.
And so he used that to save himself, after hearing he's gonna may be fired.
Which really infuriated me, I started to get a little heated. I was in disbelief, it was two coupons, there is a payout slip for each one which is proof. I don't get it.
He made it seem as if I was over there just scanning my coupons without him knowing
I then said well they have been redeemed so you have to pay me the $15.
She refused to pay me becuase the clerk said that i scanned the coupons and he didnt. and told me I had to come back the next day to talk to someone else.
I told her I don't live anywhere near there I'm in Shelby township it's a 30 mine drive, she didn't care she just walked away into her office.
Probably the Worst person I've ever encountered in the last 10 years, despicable.
I then called the store to talk to her and she just hung up in my face.
A reminder that there are truly ugly people in this world.

The pharmacist on call this past weekend was absolutely rude and disgusting in her behavior towards my friend. I was in shock with how awful this workers customer service was. Find a new place to fill your prescriptions!

There used to be this really good male cashier name firdous and he always made my day. He was always interesting to talk to. I felt so sad and empty when he wasn’t in the store anymore. I wonder what happen to him?

Noreen the pharmacist is terrible. Shame on you for being a pharmacist and being the most miserable human possible. I called from a providers office to assist a a patient and you hung up on me. Not only that but you also hung up on my patient when she called for assistance. Noreen you should look for a new career since being kind to people is not your forte.

This is one of the worst CVS in the Madison Heights Sterling Heights area don't come to the CVS . The same inexperience girl that serves me for years has been charging me extra money when I have insurance my thing is she don't have common sense to do her due diligence to make sure she's charging me correctlyyou want great service come to the service on 15 Mile and Ryan you'll get exceptional service and the pharmacy close at 9:00 p.m.

This pharmacy is absolutely awful. The staff is rude and not companionate in the least. I suffer from chronic pain and take medication for such. Every time I go in there they make me feel like a piece of garbage .My prescriptions are going to be sent to a new place.

I will never go back to the CVS on John R road and 11 mile they have people working behind the pharmacy desk that are according the girl does not work there! She was so rude to me. I will take my family’s business elsewhere. I am just one person. And it won’t make a dent in their pockets I can only hope that other customers see this and realize what’s going on.

Every time I go there my coupons don’t work, and they refuse to take them. Will never go there again, and their customer service is ridiculous.

They overcharged me for two cases of water which are supposed to be 349 each didn't ask me for my CVS card it was the pharmacy so they charged me 629 , mind you I keep calling back and that manager hung the phone up on me rude ppl?

Finally have nice cashier's now! I stopped going there over a year ago but I would switch my business back now!
